I am hoping that sbs buys and subtitles the French, Israeli, Turkish and Hungarian seasons cos they look so good from the snippets on you tube. Where else has seasons?

I'm a survivor fan, us, uk, Australian seasons have been watched and enjoyed because I love the game. I wish the producers had done a better job on this especially the casting was bad, and if they had done better we might have seen more seasons and Aussies like me would have got a chance to play.

Thanks for posting.  I'm a yank who liked in Sydney, Aussie TV can't be compared to American TV. The types of shows and the money spent on them is directly proportional to the income that the adverts generate. The population in Australia simply can't support the huge budget TV shows, but I can tell you the shows I watched there were very good - far less crap TV, which is likely why folks there enjoy sport and being outdoors. Would move back in a second!

i dont think the location of the setting has that much to do with the game. I mean I am from the US but i am sure there a places here that are extremely foriegn to me. For instance if you took a guy from new york city and put him in the everglades. I am sure he would feel uneasy

this is a game show. Now there is 17 seasons and season 17 is on currently.

So alot of ppl who want $1million enter for the game. so its a game show and its all over the world. season 17 is in Africa now

there are many beautiful islands in the philippines white sands and almost of them are virgin islands or islans were no human living but the producer of survivor philippines plans to shoot in thailand bcoz of the international rules of the game to play on other side of country australia shoot on its own country what a mess

Agreed. While interesting, this is NOT Survivor. I thought the aim of survivor, in fact the motto is: "outwit, outlast, outplay". If I were to title this reality program, I would call it, "Roughing It In The Outback, Well ... Sort Of".
