tricky wrote this lyric for the "Protection" album, but because 3D bitched about "Aftermath" not being a proper track for Massive Attack, Tricky told them to fuck off, went solo and as a retaliation created his own take called, well...."Overcome" :-)

way to recycle lyrics...the thing with tricky is he is one of the few artists who can put the same lyrics to a totally different melody and they actually sound like totally different songs.
