Do not use hand wraps then. ;-)

Training in South Thailand now, I do not use hand wraps and that has made me use proper bone joint alignment and now I punch harder.

The big bonus is no more stinky hand wraps. ;-)

Yes ... Muay Boran ... old school Muay Thai knows how to punch just using knuckles on hitting KO spots ... amazing. ;-)

Did you know that in the Villages most do not wrap their hands?? They work on good bone alignment and they really do not like spending money on anything. Their bags and equipment is sooo old. ;-(

I'm pretty big, I've only ever fought one person bigger than me (I beat the shit out of him) and I've fought 4 people at the same time and won thanks to having a long reach and quick reflexes, and this was before I even started training Muay Thai. And I'm not trying to brag or anything, I'm just saying that if you have a good fighting instinct, you can beat almost anyone. The thing about Krav Maga is that yuour reach is usless because you have to grab them by the wrist, or something along those.

Lines, and if you're against multiple opponents, the perosn you attack can simply hold you while the others punch you. I believe a striking oriented martial art is more effective than a grappling one in the streets.

I would put 10 to 20 lbs. of sand in the bottom and then scrap clothing to fill the rest. Good training!!

They are long but it is the typical length of the wraps that are sold today. If you want support between your fingers you need long and flexible wraps.

the pair of wraps that i use are not that long.. maybe around 2 times around the wrist, the 4-5 times around the knuckles, then in between the fingers, then 2 more times around the wrists.. my handwraps are kinds short compared to yours, but i'm comfortable using them..

this is an ok wrap job but wut if u dont lik tge 180 i personaly dont its always good to focus on the wrists and nux but i fond with a long wrap like he ha i cant close or compact my hands as well but for practice and sparring where u wont b hitting as hard its pretty good

instead of wrapping around the hand, i usually use the excess wrap to make a padding on the knuckle..so i can make a complete fist..

Notice he went between the fingers with his fingers wide apart, then MADE a fist as he went over the wrist. That way it's the right length (closed fist length ).

The way you wrap your hands at Fairtex is all the same but maybe different in the order of doing it. I first focus on wrist and knuckles then end with wrap between fingers.

They are actually OLD Pink handwraps, I like Pink because many of the Thai Champions love Pink and now the King of Thailand is wearing Pink. PLUS I love watching MACHO guys struggle with the color Pink in the West. :-)

Using wraps and gloves for bag work is important. It lets you punch as hard as you can without worry of damaging your wirst and knuckles. They are better ways to condition your knuckles and strengthen your wrist besides bare-knuckle bag work.

YES, they will get weak if you don't work them out to make them stronger or if you keep tweeking them. If you don't use it you will loose it. :)
