Tricks weren't bad but of course fairly simple. More advanced trickshots help players improve their measurements of normal playing, In english, draw, jump and masse.

I hate that pool turns into trick shots..... for the public. It makes people have no appreciation for say.. a perfect 90 degree cut shot. Or a long draw that gets you perfect position on the 8 or 9. It's sad, even the movies portray billiards in this fashion. Although they can be used at times.. pool isn't about trick shots, or who can make the best trick shot. It's about focus, practice, focus, knowing form, rails, position, speed, focus, and ummm focus!

@BrokenBaculum Yeah well anyone who can fire in countless 100 breaks on a big table with snooker is obviously gonna be top class at pool i think pool is 2 easy to have a world championship because when i watch it on sky whoever breaks almost always wins the frame and the othe person doesn't get a shot until he breaks which he then does the same

Yes but Jordan is a very good player! The only problem for the general public who are not pool fans, which to be fair is that a game to watch can be boring. If trick shots are more entertaining than the game itself, then job done.
