Franco Zeffirelli eligió bien a dos actores jóvenes llenos de vitalidad para estos personajes y han trascendido por el tiempo.. Siempre serán recordados como Romeo y Julieta.

ellos si fueron novios, se enamoraron en la grabacion de la pelicula, y despues .. vivieron su corto romance durante la gira de la pelicula, en un sitio Ruso, que se llama el Club de Juliet, alli narra como fue, y hay algunas entrevistas de Leo y Olivia.

1972 was the year I saw their film Romeo & Juliet; I was a teenager then, and oh how I so fell in love with Olivia Hussey--and so were most of my friends. Now in my 50's, and I still am able to recreate such a feeling each time I see a video of her--or when I watch R&J.

Wonderful video!When I think of 'Romeo & Juliet' I don't even think of anyone but these two! They're both gorgeous and embraced their roles so completely...they mesmerized everyone. No one will ever be able to compete....they've stood the test of time....their performances are as good today as they were in 1968...just perfect.

Leonard mentions that he loved her indeed, and doesn't know why his affair (romance) wasn't known in America virginity ,had nothing to do with that, because it seems to be her who decided, stop their romance.

They contradictory each other in their answers. And this info is in the Official page of Foretells Juliet Club `(Ромео и Джульетта), known to Russian page, both actors, even Franco Zefireelli has got contact with this page founder.
