About episode 16: I'm watching it now, and I'm more a Zutarian that a Kataarian and I kinda like it! Up til now (I'm only half done with the episode) I didn't see all too much Zutara hints (but a BIG SokkaSuki one;))

it doesn't make sense to me why kataang happened. its been stressed constantly that aang would have to give up katara and master the avatar state. and then some random lion turtle shows up, teaches aang "spiritbending" just so he can "get the girl" in the end. the finale just seemed really random, like the creators threw something together in two minutes, and then spent the rest of their time perfecting the kataang kiss (barf). >(

I agree with you on that. Besides, if Kataang was going to happen, shouldn't they have showed more Kataang scenes instead of giving us a false hope Zutara would happen? Katara and Aang barely saw each other in the last episodes, but she and Zuko had lots of moments together. And Mai appears out of nowhere in the end! How come she escaped? And Zuko still didn't say he loved her, cause he probably doesn't. Then why couldn't he just end up with Katara and make everyone happy?

The only reason the creators put Zutara scenes in was to keep us Zutararians hooked until the end of the series. This really sucked because it gave us false hope. Paintedbulezutara i agree the series finale looked like the creators put like a min of thought into it and took the rest of their time perfecting the (shutters)kataang kiss. I still don't care how the finale turned out though, ZUTARA ROCKS!!! :)
