Hahaha. This made me laugh so hard. I had the same situation. Only ever tried one tanning lotion and it was the same exact one. It's actually sitting on my table next to me right now. xD I thought it was horrible. I heard a lot of great things from YouTube users about the Sunlab products so I decided to order some. I didn't really have $40 at the moment so I actually when for the $20 product. Sun Giesee travel bag 02.7OZ tan overnight lotion. And it came with the moisturizer and all as well.

im naturally medium tan and i hated taning unevenly so i tried equate healthy glow and its the best self tanner ive tried as well as a cheaper option dont let the brand name fool you this stuff has amazing results i couldnt be happyer it adjusts to your skin and only effects skin that is already naturally tan lol tried it on my white boy friend no results lol have fun

@missamay232 the weird thing is that on the bottle it says ultra dark and also dark on it :S poor packaging so I am not 100% sure but i would just get the darkest one (ultra? lol)

Very helpful review . . . thank you! One question, I have tried all sorts of fake tanners (having had two skin cancers) and most of them transfer on to your clothing (it washes out, but I rather it didn't transfer in the first place) . . . does this come off on to your clothing?

BTW, I love your cute little dog & cat, I couldn't take my eyes off them! LOL

You might already know this but when you put the self tanner on the knees, elbows, ankles, and wrist have have to just barely put any there and blend it up from the foot or wrist, or wherever your putting it.

what i've heard from different self tanner forums and such is to buy airbrush solution (because it comes in like different % of dha)and just apply the airbrush by hand or by mix with moisturizer. self tanner's from bottles are only about 6-8% dha(the ingredient that causes the "brown" like color) whereas airbrush solutions go up to 12%... which is a huge difference when it comes to tan depth and color...p.s. i've only tried this technique once and had pretty dark results compared bottle tanners
