I was running Android FLUX on my cheapo XChinese netbook but it kept messing up! I decided to go back to Windows CE 6.0 but it's all in Chinese after installing it! Its a WM8505 netbook with 300Mhz CPU, 128Mb RAM and 2GB NAND flash. How can i change the language to English?

I've been given one of these and have been attempting to get android or CE 6 installed but mine does not boot from SD.

I've gone through the process numerous times, ensured the card is formatted correctly, the only folder on the card is script etc.

Is there a trick to getting these things to boot from SD? Admittedly mine is a Fujita branded device and appears to have a different POST process.

I've confirmed that the SD reader works fine and the files are visible on the machine after boot

@sundayv1 Yes and no. Yes because small video clips or short movies with small resolution are ok. But full length movie will probably freeze every now and again for a second. Not powerful enough unfortunately.

@go1983go Well. Here is the thing. I have got only one model and I do not know which "script" will work with others. There is approx. 9 (maybe more) different WIN CE 6 versions on internet. Just google it, dig and you will find it. The one in my video worked for me but after 2 months of searching and trying different ones. Good luck...

@LEDEGENMEN23 Have you tried resetting netbook with the reset button? What is your cpu? Is it ARM-VT8500 or VIA -VT8505 or other? Different processor means you need different WIN CE version I believe.

I have not tried resetting the netbook. I thought I read where the reset button was only available if you take off the cover but I will definitely try it. I did attempt to install Android which is why I want to restore it to CE but I will try that again too. I will try anything at this point. Thanks again. If it works, I will definitely let you know.

Man.. I thought I was in the clear. Everything went fine just like in the video except when I remove the SD card and booted up, I see the Benign logo in a very low light and then it just sits there. I've tried the install twice now. Can you think of anything else I can try? Thanks in advance.

@jnjedi Have you tried RESETTING the netbook? RESET button is underneath the machine... It looks like it doesn't flash your memory. Maybe try installing Android and then WIN CE straight after?

@SkyPirate600 I never tried it. What I've done I've installed ANDROID on my 7" MINI NETBOOK from China but was not happy. ANDROID is still not perfect. I wanted to get back to WIN CE but did not work. I have downloaded many different versions of WIN CE and still didn't work. (there are many, many different versions, just google it) and eventually I found digitalgadgets website and found their OS. Gave it a go and it worked. Then just wanted to share my discovery with the society. That's all...
