The other day an atheist ask me to prove God and I told him he did not want me to prove God. He admitted he wanted to use me to prove there is no God and I told him he was trying to prove there is no God so he would not have to face the fact he was going to be held accountable for his sins and he did not deny it. You want to clear your conscience of the guilt you have for your sins, so you attack those that believe in God so in your mind you don't have to face him.

I don't want you to prove there is no god. I challenge you to prove there is. Until you do, I don't have to consider the question at all. You're the one making the very broad and extraordinary claim, so the burden of proof is on you.

when Christ was here many still denied him, so why if i had proof positive that he is, how would that make you believe? the Bible says "the heavens declare the Glory of God". so look up and you have all the proof you need. the problem is that people do not want to face the sin in their lives, so they believe that if they deny God that they are not accountable for their sins. i asked why proof would change your mind when there were those that had God standing right in front of them and still denied him. if you choose not to believe all the proof in the world will make no difference. True, not believing in something doesn't mean it doesn't exist. The converse is true too, because our belief doesn't change the reality of what we're believing in. That's why religious wishful thinking doesn't make God exist.

So what is the connection between our existence and God? You're just saying one proves the other, but how? Why should we accept what cannot be proven? Do you deny Odin? You denying Odin doesn't mean he's not the REAL god of the universe. It's the same thing with God.

Man has sinned and come short of the Glory of God. God loved us so much to send his son to die in our place on the Cross for our sins. Jesus became sin for us. We can be forgiven our sins by Repenting, asking God to forgive us and place our faith in Christ. It is a free gift that cannot be earned.
