When will OLD's FARTS in the so called Rock & Roll, open there eyes and know what this band put out, year afte year. Why do they continue too put in people and bands that haven't earn there do'es. Why do they let in R.A.P. shit people in wh can't even sing, and leave out such a great band. Are they waiting for them all to die, before they open those stupid hears and eyes to what is REAL MUSIC. KID out R.A.P. shit crap and put in REAL ROCK & ROLL MUSIC.
It was 1982. Chicago, Illinois. I was 17 years old. One warm night in July, I was listening to WXRT radio. WXRT was a progressive radio station that played anything from the Stones to Echo and the Bunnymen. All over the place. That's what I loved about that station at the time. I was sitting on my mothers moth-eaten couch made of brown yarn when I heard the first 3 guitar notes of "Hungry". As the song continued, I was transformed from the couch and into another world. Raiders forever!
rip drake and smitty very nice tribute to drake it really is a shame this core group of paul mark drake and smitty haven't been recognized and inducted into the r&r hall of fame yet... columbia records r&r hitmakers ... tv appearances..and great muscians and showmen nuff said !!
Bye, Drake. Sorry I never got to see you perform live, and even more sorry that the Raiders never get the respect and honor they deserve for the awesome music they put out. If you don't love 'em, listen again and be honest! Rock on Drake, we're still listening.
i knew Drake personally, I went to his memorial service in San Francisco, and it was a shame that he died. Heck, I'm only a teenager, and he even took me to a movie once, what a great guy.
He is right. They were the greatest show band!

This was so good on Dave and Paul's part. I needed to dry my eyes. I'm sure the band had a ball playing " Just Like Me " . Thanks for posting.

I just heard about this today. Very sad. Drake Levin was underrated, I loved his guitar work. RIP Drake. We will miss you..
