  • they look clueless to what the song is really all about

  • Wow, goosebumps

  • I CANT WAIT I HAVE TO SING THIS FOR CHIOR

  • Good song!

  • Good clothes and production!

  • Good cast and good clothes for a change! Some productions do not even try for the 1960's but wear their everyday clothes, shame!

  • @pinkydogbear You might really like the original cast from 1970--uploaded on my youtube page. Enjoy.

  • Groff caries the male vocals. Its obvious.

  • I just saw the production on Broadway tonight with the 2nd cast, and it was AMAZING. I have seen many productions of this wonderful musical, and I always have to hold back the tears on this last number of Let The Sunshine in. It is so powerful and sad, especially when the cast peels away and Claude's dead body is lying on the flag. It is all I can do to keep from crying my eyes out.

  • this is some of the best vocals ive heard on this song

  • @kluck228 I agree

  • I just finished production of Hair over the summer (Genesius Theatre in Reading PA) every night I was sobbing during this song... infact there are videos up here that a tribe member posted and when it gets down to Berger Sheila and Woof (me) you can hear me choking down the tears and trying to sing... not many productions understand that this is NOT a happy song

  • Awesome harmony!

  • This revival is every bit as important as the original was in 1968. It is a "must see". To my friend, Will Swenson: Congratulations on your Tony nomination, and to the entire cast, crew and staff: contratulations on your Tony for Best Musical Revival!

  • I saw it at the Delacorte - and was in tears. I am far from a "liberal" now - but the passion, the sincerity and the nostalgic pathos of the experience - watching these very talented young artists so beautifully recreate the musical drama of 1969 was overwhelming to me, and yes, I got up on stage at the end and danced with them as i cried. Let the sunshine in.

  • guys see the broadway production! its mostly the same cast as this but staged differently and it is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great vocals! But the most important thing is the stagIng... the song is a PLEA to embrace peace and understanding. I can't fathom why SO many productions (especially college) have casts dancing and singing all over the place- Tribe Leader CLAUDE has just died in Vietnam, and so many casts are oblivious to this fact. I'll NEVER forget the CHILL I got as a 14 yr. old who saw the Broadway company just standing in a single line, several of them CRYING in desperation to get their point across.

  • I saw this in Central Park and totally agree with you, It's too bad no one has video of either of the point park college productions, it was my first experience with the show and as moving as the now Broadway production.

  • And that is what makes this song so powerful and beautiful, it's almost overwhelming...but I agree, a lot of casts don't really perform it that way.

  • @Trampyre -Hi--weirdly I was 14 too when I got to see the original on Broadway--pretty sure-it changed my life--not to mention the end of Act I. .Anyway I just uploaded some of the original west coast cast 1970 or so on my youtube page- -done for tv-so the staging may not be exactly the same. What a great experience!

  • I'm in love with Will Swenson-A.K.A Berger.

  • did you get to dance with them?

  • No problem! Yeah, I did...it was fabulous!! =)

  • Amazing! Thank you for posting!!

Did you see the show at the Delacorte?
