All is well except the for the day I met my wife. She turned out to be the biggest pile of human debris I had ever had the misfortune to meet. She took me for everything. I not only lost my business, my home, my child but I even lost my dignity. So the next time you meet "the girl of your dreams", remember my story and go gently into that future. Marriage SUCKS big time. It is for hopeless romantics and for suckers...Date, make love but never, ever get married. It will only lead to disaster
why haven't day produced a live dvd of the outside tour ,and I mean with Carlos and all the others included, not just half the band, like on later dates!!I have seen both ,The first,he came just back from a gig with the fantastic Nine Inch Nails in the us (lucky bastards) time in Europe in Utrecht he and the band were just splendid,ab fab!!! The outsider Bowie was back again. And he loved it!!
I really hate how everything I get into and really love is long over by the time I get to :/ But oh Mr Bowie, your music is timeless. Such a performer <3
hey bowie fans. so good to see the mid-90s bowie period getting some love. i was in junior high when all this was happening and i couldnt be prouder to be a bowie fan. miss the days of reeves, parker guitars, and jungle. sigh. back to my bootlegs!!
with bowie being so quite for all the recent years we can't be sure if we shall ever get any close to him again. it sure is sad, but we can still hold on to our great memories. i've seen him in vienna in 2003 also from the second row and just few things in life can compare to that %) All the best to you too!
always loved this song from a vastly underated bowie period. i was at the wembley gig 2 rows from the stage no more than 6 ft from him and taking pictures as he looked into the camera. got home and found out the camera had no film in it. still severely pissed off 14 yrs later.
That is a great story! and actually quite a happy one. don't be pissed. there is some pure art to the fact that you photographed him with an empty camera. and it certainly fits the aura of bowie's own creations of that period.
Thanks Shambuei, but i will never get that close again. That was a great period from bowie with some good songs. Strangers when we meet for example. all the best bowie friend
Yeah I first heard it as a cover version by Zoe Poledouris on the Starship Troopers soundtrack. Bowie's version is far better though. Definitely a unique song of his and less well known.
Incredible-you are completely correct-the scarf gets thrown up from the audience-this makes it an even more fantastic performance-pure Bowie brilliance once again. We want him back live !
well not lately, his most reccent tour was 2003/2004, he reccently provided backing vocals for an album by SCarlett Johanson. Some people think he's working on something tho..its hard to say if he'll ever release another new album
omg they have a rare MP3 of the live version of this somewhere on the web....its sooooooo good sound qualitys the best....i forget what site its at tho....
This is one of my favorite albums. Wish I could have seen the tour. The scarf. Anyone else would have wrapped it around their neck - boring! Best part is its most likely not supporting his arm - mime ha!
Fantastic song from one of Bowie's strongest albums, and a truly mesmerizing live performance. More please. Why hasn't the 95 tour been released on DVD?? Glaring hole in my collection.
Great performance.

Yeah, I was going to say that. Pretty cool, in the future there'll be a benign authoritarian state, and music like Bowie.

Incredible performance, this is what glam should be all about.
Outside is one of my three favorite Bowie albums, and this performance does the feel of the album justice.

I love his chicken-bob dancing, there.
And the scarf thing. Geez, he doesn't even flinch or look at it or anything, he just catches it and uses it to enhance the song!
I loooove him. ;D <3

seriously, some random person just threw it at him at 2:38 on the bottom right hand corner, i don't think that was rehearsed.

Much rockier than the album version. Wish I'd caught this tour as a lot of the stuff he did on it will probably never see the light of day again.
