  • oh they do exchange students. hmmm.. like the campus itself. :)

  • FYI. so great.

  • Reggies!

  • Concordia is really tough in terms of education

  • one more thing, the exercises in the textbook has nothing to do with the exam. the exam much much much much..... harder. I don't know why.

  • Really. That's some good advice for those wanting to do pursue a CA or CGA. I think its because they are trying to set the bars high, it's good in the end because concordia's jmsb will be known to produce the best students!

  • the most difficult courses are the accounting ones and it's there that U make the most money. for the last one acco420 better go to mc gill. its a lot easier other there to pass and to to get a very good grade then transfer the credit. If U take it at concordia, U better know UR textbook by heart and read it at least 1000 times.

  • Oh, never mind. I know now, lol. I can't wait to go. xxx

  • I'm going there this year after I graduate, to major in film studies. I can't wait. Does anyone know, by any chance, which campus I will be studying Film Studies at?

  • I want to apply to Concordia for Film production... would this be a good idea (is it the best one in Canada?)and which campus is better?

  • You don't really get to choose. Its based on in which campus your department is in and where the class you want are given. Some common classes have sections in both campuses so you could chose. Not in my program though.

  • you're gonna end up being downtown =)

  • i applied to concordia for Phd Economics, and the support i got from the administrative staff is great. i am looking forward to concordia. i am leaving manchester, uk for montreal. hopefully i wont regret.Regarding teachers, i can say that not all teachers in any university are going to be good. five fingers are not identical.

  • Honestly All I have to say is that as a Concordia student(JMSB), I really Love this school! Both Campuses are very Cool to be at and you will infact get a very good education here. Also,They are the only school in Mtl that's actually Innovative and making things happen over the years.I won't bash Mcgill like they "try" to bash us because as a Concordia Student,my standards are higher than that :)

  • I go there and trust me maybe you just weren't a good student and expected to get A+ in everything because its a good school to go 2.

I Know for a fact that Teacher in most universities in Canada aren't "Amazing" but thats life and thats the real world take it or leave it. Live if tough

  • I don't believe in "that the real world take it or leave it" that's weake !YES WE CAN improve yes WE CAN change the world and not that's the way it is like if we are losers. As honor award students i can only help improve the level of education of my university by giving my honest opinion. They need to hire teachers who cares and reduce the bureaucracy and YES WE CAN.

  • What I mean by "thats life and the real world"

is that you cannot expect everything to be Butterflies and candy.

The truth is Almost all school in Canada suck and thats because we as canadians pay very little for school.(in comparison to the rest of the world which has better schools) (Usa for example)

Concordia,Mcgill,Hec,Uquam...... etc etc etc are not amazing schools so if you want amazing and improved schools go pay 20000 per semester.

  • Don't forget that we are the most taxed people on this planet when you say free be careful. France they have totally free high quality education, Spain, Germany it's because education is priority.USA they pay less tax they have better roads and when somebody get mad of waiting 6 months for a surgery here he goes their for immediate care.I love Canada and my university as much as you do and there are Huge positive aspects to praise but there is always place for progress ,but i see your point.

  • this is really funny.. who told u that? do you live in burma? common

  • bullshit, i didn't need to do any training to go in the job market... probably ur friends are not good...

  • The reason we pay "little" for education is because a lot of the schools are subsidized by the government. This means the schools DO get quite a bit of money, and we pay the rest through taxes (i think). Canadian schools are quite good, and as with everything it depends on the whether the person is willing to try hard to succeed.

  • 4 distinct seasons = PC for may experience fucking cold winters

  • French and English come together, HA what a joke... and i guess that Concordia hater must be a McGill Student, what a loser. Concordia Rocks, you wanna-b. I am a Concordia Student and damn proud to be one. Ps Yeah SGW is better lol

  • i like SGW campus better

  • I WISH IF I COULD STUDY THERE:)

  • it's not campuses it's a thousend buildings at least

  • Well what would you Expect for the "downtown Campus" lol I agree that its many buildings but with all the renovation Concordia has its own like territory and its really nice if you ask me!

Plus their other campus is FREAKING AWSOME if you prefer grass atrees and older(more detailed beautiful buildings)

  • Downtown is buildings And Loyola is a Traditional campus.

but downtown is nice 2 though

  • very informative!

  • Nice! Thanks!
