Review: High Beam & Moon Beam by Benefit

I love High Beam but I've always wondered about Moon Beam. I guess I might buy some and try mixing it with my foundation since it seems more subtle than High Beam :). Thank you for reviewing both products :D

Hey I got really fair sensitive skin but really brown eyes and hair...How can I work out what kind of undertone I have?I once bought foundation that was perfect for my ultra sensitive skin but it turned out to be too pinky...I need to understand it to choose high beam or moon beam!

moon beam is better if you have a darker skin tone (: and high beam is for more like the lighter skin tones !

the high beam shows up for everyone but i think moon beam is more subtle and better for warm skin tones while high beam blends better with cool skin tones

hey thanks for sharing. i found these online for like half price and i'm trying to figure out if i should get one over the other or both. from the looks of it, i'd lean toward high beam. but do you think i could mix it in with my daily lotion? b/c i don't really wear foundation. thanks in advance!

I think it would work really wel mixed in with moisturizer actually! Make sure it's mixed in really wel before you start applying so you don't have any shimmery blotches! :)

I'd say it's more of a sheen...but there are some slight shimmers - so a combo of both :)

Moon Beam would be a nice choice, but I gotta say, High Beam looks great on basically anyone! :)

Yes, you can absolutely wear it over foundation, or even mix a little bit into your foundation so it gives you a beautiful glow :)

Yup I found that Moon beam didn't really show up on my skin as much, but High beam definitely does. I'm exchanging my moon beam for high beam lol

i think moon beam is more flattering with asian skin because of its apricot-y shade..maybe that's why it didnt look as good as high beam on you..i just got my moon beam today and i really love it..thanks for showing us how to apply it. tc :D

I'd go for High Beam, as it shows up way better than Moon Beam. They are also pretty different colours,so depending on your skin tone they would look quite different.

I'd try and swatch them in the store on your hand to see how they show up. Hope this helped :)

I use it after, just so it shows up better, and it works just fine. I'm sure you could put your powder over it though, it just might not show up as much :)
