@Taedran Marty's got a classical composing repertoire more than anything. He is naturally more worried about excessive volume in his music. You probably won't hear Hans Zimmer or Two Steps from Hell from him, but it's great the way it is and you can't say it's not epic.

I have to disagree with some of you, while the piano song is cool most of the music has remained the same since halo 1, it's become unoriginal and uninteresting, and that warning that pops up when ever you try custom soundtrack is totally dumb, I mean if the music is gonna stay the same through all 3 games you can't expect us to want to listen to it. The only truly amazing thing about Halo 3 is the music. I think that it multiplied the hype for people. Marty O'Donnell and Michael Salviatori are the only two people involved with Halo that I have respect for.
