Business at the front and then a bit of economy at the back where they were gonna put premium economy but they scrapped it due to cost

no, most of it is business class only a bit at the back is economy, but it is the best place to sit because you get storage by window!

why do planes take-off with some flaps?

To add more wing surface area and thus increasing lift. Thats why when they land they have full flaps. Because they are travelling so slow their lift is low and so with more flaps they can counter that and produce the lift required.

without flaps the plane can stall because the air speed is low. heavier planes especially need the extra lift during take off

Great video, love the music, We sure have come along way. I can remember as a small child flying to Germany on 707`s and D-C8`s and then the 747. I have flown on the 777 the only thing I did not care for is coach is behind the wing, Its looks like the 380 is the same layout. Great Job

You sat at row 75H&K, was it comfortable and easy to see from window? I mean your slideshow shows a wall next to windowseat. Perhaps those seats are reclined?

The seat in front was reclined but it was easy to see out the window as two windows were visible from my seat.

I am originally from London and so was visiting family. I didn't actually stay in Singapore I just stopped there in between this flight and my flight to Oz.
