Words are only as powerful as you allow them to be. I'm very black, but definitely not a nigger (in the negative sense; however I may be bit of a black sheep so who knows). I love that Smith pushed the envelope with this song, but if you don't judge the song by the title then you miss the whole message. And that truly is a shame.
