Their songs are ALIVE inside me .... part of the flame that is my spirit. Don't know if this was a choice or serendipity. But it doesn't matter. I love the music they make and feel like I know a bit of their spirit through the music. Blissful Duran Duran in my life.

Let me just admit that I'd sell my mother to see Duran Duran! (Sorry, mom). They are the best band and I saw them and also Power Station years ago. They kick ass onstage. I missed them in NYC on Oct, 25 2011 because I was getting married! So I had a good excuse and my wife would have killed me if I went to a CONCERT. (lol). This is a great video - I love these songs and they really nailed it!

@42bluey Hello, I really love mom to bits but this IS Duran Duran! lol... It was on my own wedding day that they were back here in New York and I live an hour away from there! Good god! 2 friends of mine went to see them because the bastards won tickets to see them AND attend an after-concert party! I hate them. lol. (Not that I'm bitter, really!) lol. Hold Back the Rain - IMO the best song on one of the greatest rock albums of all time. Both songs are even better live than they are in the studio.

I like the fact that you can clearly hear the same sounds coming back in different songs, and even on different albums !

For example, the 'helicopter' sound from Planet Earth is coming back in this song ! It really defines the complete sound of the band.

Love it !

Wish MTV would make more effort in bringing these guys back on the screen, Astronaut really deserved it. I'm convinced that if Astronaut had been more of a success, they wouldn't have considered the create that foolish Red Carpet crap.

BRILLIANT segue! I almost wish they'd done that at the Jones Beach show in '05. :) No matter, they played "Thunder" great there to, and led it into "I Feel Love".

as a bass player this is a let down to me...

first off the bass he used from 1980 to 1985 was an aria sb 1000 bass...looks like he is playing a peavey..im sure there was a reason for it though....that aria made all the differnce..there is not another bass ive ever found that sounds like them and im 36 and have been playing since 1984...good over all though..i loved the ( i really dont give a F*(k) part that was great:)

Simon doesn't often talk about his lyrics ... but I saw an interview where he says that he wrote "Hold Back the Rain" for John, during a rough patch in John's life. I think that's pretty cool.
