Matt Dillion provides his services on a violent compulsory basis paid for by compulsory taxes. It seems his services are needed. Why couldnt he provide them like a normal person in the free market on a voluntary basis? How is he any better than all the people he murders? This show is government propaganda used to legitimize the violent aggression always initiated by the people who call themselves government.
Susan Gordon retired from acting to attend college. After college she lived in Japan for 13 years. From there she moved to Israel, Los Angeles, Brooklyn and Teaneck, NJ. Three weeks ago my wife and I stopped by to visit her, and to watch one of her all-time favorite comedy films with her — Some Like it Hot. Even 50 years after this episode first aired, she still looks a lot like she did as a child actress.
@TrickShot1100 The little girl in the "Little Girl" episode of Gunsmoke is Susan Gordon. She appeared in approximately 35 films and TV shows between 1958 and 1967.
This just makes me want to cry everytime!! I loved it when she kisses him! He had his own daughter of course at this airing, so it makes you know in your heart he was a special Daddy to his own litlle girl! I believe!!
Doggone if that wasn't the best episode of Gunsmoke ever. Thanks

I enjoy these shows where the actors and actresses were very young in their careers.

if Marshal Dillon got a dollar for every man he ever buried, he'd be a rich man.
