For those of you who can't get the data editor up:

When you install it, make sure you make a shortcut ib your desktop. (if you didn't, then just click and hold the option and drag it to your desktop) Then wait a minute or so (computer may need to be restarted) then right click it, and click 'Run Editor' The first time it loads up it may take a while!

oh the saving bit on the video there's no need for that

1 create club

2 add all the players/staff

3 save in something other than config

4 load up and play

to all the people not getting the choose your database pop up thing..I had the same trouble for about an hour I just solved it..after uninstalling about 3 times..when you uninstall the game browse your computer for football manager 2010 you should find there is still folders left behind delete them because they contain the database files for the editor uninstall does not seem to get rid of them...and never save over config database file again..hope this helps

i do this and i go on my club it says Hayes&Yeading £0 and ive put in 999999999 for all 3 things den ive changed it and done 1b and had 900mil and 1mil of wages tell me wat ave i dne wrong a video of hayes wud b helpful and in english money

similar issues myself, ive had the box come up once before but now it never comes up. I do everything that you did, get to start game and it just goes straight to pick a league etc.

I have a problem like the one of pete 2437: I move luca toni to Roma, then I save with name "toni roma" then I increase the abilities of totti and I call it "totti" then I increase the ones of de rossi and call it "de rossi".then I go out, switch on the game and try to start a new game, but he doesn't tell me "database default change" he doesn't tell me anything at all and loads his download without changes.

I have problem in time 3:38. You have chooses database box, but if i click on ''new game'', the game will start without any choosing database. Where is the problem?

Have you save as all the players you have moved?. you have to save as for each player . make shore you don't overwrite them.
