I'm an Algerian fan but i live in USA, and yea it was a good game, Towards the end of the game i knew that Algeria wasn't going to the win so i was actually glad that USA scored and went threw, and as you mentioned that referees did terrible job, like i thought the first goal wasn't offside at all. Yea Zaini is considered our best player. Good video of your thoughts you should make more next time.

As a Brit I think it's fantastic to see more Americans getting into soccer. Donovan's dramatic last minute goal against Algeria was easily one of the highlights of the World Cup so far. Sorry the USA had to go out to Ghana - would've liked to see them progress further and get even more Americans interested in the Beautiful Game. Well done anyway - and wish us luck against Germany today!

About the refs, just blame Josef Blater the FIFA president and Platini the UEFA boss. All confederations, national teams and clubs are begging to allow the 4th ref to assist in the decisions. I mean, they have the replay, they know that a team is being robbed and he do nothing. These 2 leaders just want to be able to fix results. Just look at the disgrace durinh the WCup 02 with Korea. Portugal, Spain and Italy were kicked out by the refs to keep 500 Millions Asians among the audience.

I really hope we don't play catch up to every team (unless we win of course) the rest of the way, because I don't know how much is left in the tank. I think that only bulgarian Kostadinov's goal in 1993 (qualification) against France (Parc de Princes) was so thrilling.

I think that no match will beat USA x Algeria in beauty.

If the soocer keep on growing in US, in a few years NOONE will beat US.

I am a brazilian fan and I am sure about this.

US have the strenght, the inteligence, the inner power that lacks in most of the countries.

I think that Donovan goal was one of the most important goals in the WC history, because it impacted all over the US. The US fans and the US Team gave a huge sign to the world that they will change the sport forever.

But far worst than ones that doubted are the one inside USA working against soccer IN USA. They don´t want another WC in US. These people (sport media, etc) disturb any idea related to soccer. Another sport, less room :) While these people have so many power, US soccer will suffer. US soccer needs you and all american fans. It´s a difficult battle.
