If this video was taken outside, beaten with a bat, smashed in the back with a golf club, had it's knees shot out then had someone drill a hole in it's spine it could not be lamer than it is now.
If that is his greatest or amongst his greatest play, I want him as an opponent.
A3 is a big lay down in that spot? AK or AQ would be nice and even a pair like Jacks.
Its good a feeling to make great plays. I once raised queens and smooth called his re-raise and I knew at the time he had KK or AA and the flop came jack high. I check/folded and he showed kings. It was a sweet tell. You hear the "I raise" in that sad sort of way and so many other tells. I only called the raise to hit a Q
This of course, still is not the whole story. The fact that Joergensen holds back some part of his neglibile stack instead of going all-in is very important, too. If in the end ElkY's is good or bad is not so easy to say, but i wanted to stress the importance of looking beyond just his cards.
Why is it a remarkable play? The answer is: pot odds. Pot odds, it seems, are routinely ignored in youtube poker discussions, although they are as important as the cards the players are holding. In this case ElkY needs to pay 52k to win 172k, which gives him (incredibly good) 1:3.5 pot odds. Except he figures he is exactly up against AA, he must call, especially since Joergensen must push with a wide range of hands due to his short stack.
