Whats the issue? Cops have someone detained, are attempting to protect themselves (it's like 7 on 1,000) and have made it crystal clear that people are to stay back. When you've disobeyed a clear order by a cop, you need to accept the consequences if you choose to ignore it. Stay the fuck back. I can't imagine anyone in the cops shoes doing anything differently. If they weren't being proactive, they would have been quickly overtaken

i'm all for peaceful protest and a peaceful resolution but at the same time as i watch this video and see them beating this person excessively i can't help but notice the unprotected throat area of these police. this is a bad thing. it's almost as if these people just missed a chance to rid the world of at least 2 bad cops. it would have been so easy to overpower the 7 or so of them. so tempting....... we'll see how long it stays peaceful. i really hope we can make it.
