  • 1) a lot of them come STOCK with 4wheel steering.

    2) sounds like you need to get your car looked at. the ilde is all over the place.

    3) i can understand placing the camera on the ground, but try placing it right side up.

  • yeeessss, the 4 wheel steer is the best :-)

  • I found a book in my lude that showed all of honda's models for sale back in 93 with all options available for them and so on. The 2.0 model of the prelude didn't have 4ws, but it was optional - though costy. no models came with leather interior, except for the Fine Art models (which is extremely rare). I have a 2.0 myself btw :) the prelude was expensive as f*** though :O

  • to correct myself, no models came stock with 4ws, but on the 2.3 and 2.2 models it was optional :)

  • i own a prelude 2.0 si n it came with 4ws

  • 4ws only had the 2.3 except in Japan. There is only about fifteen 4ws V-tech cars in the U.S. I used to own one of them

  • I had the 2.1 and it was 4ws

  • What we all have to remember here is that different continents equals to different special equipment on the cars. Mine is a 2.0 imported from germany, and the Honda-catalogue that came with the car shows that among other things, 4ws was an expensive extra for the car. I don't think ludes with 2.2 and 4ws is as rare as you say, navy4shawn? Don't wanna argue with u, I'm just not shure if that's completely right? :P

  • I have 2133518's on mine and pwr steering works fine. Had the for a while

  • I had 245-35-19's on mine and it also worked fine

  • i have a prelude 2.0.. no 4ws here, but i think if not all, most 2,3l preludes have 4ws? at least those I find over here does.

  • What do you mean HS in ludes.....i think 4ws was an optional extra for most model ludes as some jap imports dont have it. its all to do with chassis codes e.g BB1 to BB4

  • 4WS is just a different model of car in itself, and it's pretty rare. I have one also. It looks like you have too wide of tires on a 4-wheel steering car, though. That'll be worse for the power steering pumps.

  • how did you get the 4WS to work with a v-tech motor?

  • the 4ws system isnt hooked up to the ecu it has its own computer system. I own a 93 4ws prelude with the jdm h22a swap I just did. So I know what I am talking about.

  • i now they are diffrent computer im just say will the $WS comp clash with the VTEC.

  • nope not at all vtec is just the cams and valves controlled by the ecu at a programd rpm. the 4ws is a completely separate system the 4ws computer just senses speed and the angle of the front wheels, has nothing to do with the motor...

  • ooooo

  • the 4ws unit is a seperate computer mounted in the rear

  • Not on all of them. Mine wasn't computerized at all. It had a rack and pinion in the back and was 4ws all the time.

  • ya yours was a 3rd gen not a 4th gen....

  • why do u guyz put a HS in ludes

  • thats way cool, i thought that 4ws ludes came with the h23 non vtec though

  • bubble back??? it is a 4th generation 'lude

  • is that the bubble back
