The Aticle 1 quote in this film is a cobbled together bit made from two different sections - section 8 and section 10.

Gold and Silver are only mentioned one time each in the Constitution and only in reference to the limitation on the powers of the States in making legal tender laws. This does not make the Fed unconstitutional - it just keeps a State from forcing creditors in a state court to accept property or goods to settle a debt.

Not trying to cause a stir... but starting a documentary about the government with a Bible verse can push away a large number of people whose attention you might want.

I am NOT a religious person, but people who refuse to even listen to something JUST because it has a bible verse are too STUPID to actually understand this anyway.

Much of the bible is simply moral parables which in many cases are JUST as true today as they were thousands of years ago. For someone to be pushed away by ANY writing and close their mind just because the source is a religious text is unfathomable to me, a NON believer.

There are countless quotes from founding fathers and other patriotic sources that could have easily taken its place.

Along with moral parables, the Bible also contains immoral practices.

I am a little confused. Where in the Consitution does it say that the money needs to be backed by gold and silver coin? I have researched a bunch of different sites that contain the full constitution and can't find that in there, just the first half and it ends at "...standard of weight and measure."

I don't think it is fair to conclude that all those people did not the founding father's intent. The legal argument is only one argument against the FED. Even if an amendment made the FED legal, it would still be a profoundly bad idea. In fact, the legal argument should not be the core one lest this should happen and the wind leave our sales---it is the icing on the cake. The Fed is bad for many reasons.

If you are really worried about the poor(or the middle class for that mattter), this is the best way to help them, without creating a welfare state.

Yes, like the military and veterans benefits which 50% of your income tax goes to. I don't want to abolish the IRS. I think the rich need to pay more in taxes and without an IRS then it comes down to a flat tax to collect money and that helps the rich and not the poor. The IRS are good paying jobs so how do you propose we be able to fund welfare, SS and military/veterans? N Korea and Iran aren't going away so we need an available military.
