I'm certainly glad being vegan has worked out for you, my friend developed anemia after becoming vegan, and had to get injections to support her lifestyle. All the vegans I know have gotten sick every once in a while.

I have a friend who is not able to eat a lot of fresh fruit and has to make it up by taking supplements. That goes to show everyone is different, and I know many older meat eaters with excellent health btw.

Joyful Vegan HIZZLE. this isn't funny like at all. i showed this video to a couple of my nonvegan friends and they didnt have a reaction at all. its not funny. and yeah sure you can have fun with all the coke you want. but when it comes to cruelty and violence, theres not a single reason to smile while eating a soul. even if you are high as fuck. No offense, but you should really look into taking better care of yourself, the animals, and the environment

The unfortunate thing (for her and not the millions of animals that get slaugtered to feed her), is that in her current state she probably doesn't have a long life ahead of her. Obesity is the cause of so many diseases and premature death.
She should acknowledge this and understand that a vegan lifestyle would help her. Then again, being fat is probably her comic routine....

Whilst I understand the joke, and not offended by it....I do worry that if people show this attidude towards vegetarianism and veganism....the chances of the masses becoming that is (excuse the pun) slimmer. If we keep getting comics putting it down, and the meat and dairy industry mocking veggies and promoting "health benefits" of meat/dairy....then I pity western countries long term health and survival.

@madmravyn But you could argue that meat eaters are the same - people as meat eaters get aggressive and defensive about their "religion" (of eating meat), and refuse to hear anything contrary to their view.
The fact is though, that both meat eating AND religion are wrong! Religion is totally unproved and a faith, harmful to the planet, cruel, and often unhealthy.....whilst meat eating is cruel, harmful to the planet and unhealthy!!

Vegans aren't nutters, they are decent, intelligent and compassionate people who care about stuff beyond their own selfish greed. oh, you don't have an idea how fat vegans can be if they don't like soy milk and all the rest of it, because they it much more carbohydrates than others. and that makes fat, i do not know if ppl in america know this, but in germany, where i come from, we learn at school that enzymes splitting carbohydrates in malt sugar and THAT MAKES FAT, so naturally Vegans have to be more fat than others.

I think it is not down to her writing, but her material. Her material is funny, but the humour is very dark, and she may be worried that people will get the wrong end of the stick, especially the cows being fed dead Mexicans.
She just needs to learn that everything is funny, when done righ, and those who get offended do not matter.

Not fall down funny. I think that her writing is not up to snuff with the verbal and dramatic presentation. She had some interesting thoughts, but a good monologue and set up shouldn't be a series of one liners. Still a possible diamond in the rough.
But I also felt that way when I first saw an earlier version of Roseanne Barr doing stand up back in the early 80's prior to her sitcom..
