If students showed this much commitment to going back to fucking class during a 3 month long strike, then we wouldn't have to have to deal with an extended school year, and a condensed summer schedule.

Hey, that's just my opinion. This energy should have been channelled into something that matters. This protest didn't matter, and had absolutely no impact that was positive on anyone. If anything, it was a negative experience for Palestinians, Israeli's, and other students.

Technically, you could say a state based on race is an apartheid system. Israel was allied with South Africa when it was an apartheid system. It doesn't make the behavior of Islamists correct. People use the rationale that since Islamists are not good people, then all Israelis are good people. That's not, actually, logical.

Of course, you can argue just as Israel has prejudice, prejudice in some form exists amongst its neighbors. It still wouldn't make what Israel does right.

Palestine was a geographical entity. States are actually more of a modern creation. Germany and Italy are less 150 years old.

You had various kingdoms in Europe and the Middle East. Whether Palestine was a state or not, doesn't change the need for human rights, a respect for the right of a people to live on a land they were born on.
