  • People of Camden, stop looking for others to solve your problems. It is your city, fix it.

  • I live in Camden . They need good cops and more jobs.

  • @leesiani they just laid off like 100 sumthin cops there

  • If they take the money out of Cherry Hill NJ or Princeton NJ then they could fix Camden NJ!!!! The problem is THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEM!!!! THEY COULD REBUILD CAMDEN BUT THEY RATHER GIVE THEM 3 STRIKES YOUR OUT...GO TO JAIL AND BECOME A SLAVE..MORE MONEY IN THE PRISON SYSTEM BEING SOLD ON THE STOCK MARKET! PRISONS ARE BIG MONEY MAKERS! THAT'S Y THEY DON'T INVEST IN SCHOOLS OR CREATE JOBS IN CAMDEN! THERE TOO BUSY BUILDING PRISON SYSTEMS! DETROIT IS IN THE SAME BOAT!

  • nigga u look gay as hell muthaf-cka

  • @EpicSnak3 only true straight gangsters write fucka f-cka

  • theres nothing a president can do to stop kids from being wangsters and buying into the bs wannabe gangster bullshit that we have created, thats all up to them

  • what if he got shot right afterwards...

  • Man, i live in Camden (not really dangerous) I'm more scared to go to Phil really. It is dangerous But my block is pretty safe :). Its not like someone comes behind you with a knife or somthing. Just not smart to walk around camden past 10ish

  • Kid your a dumb ass Lol, camden isnt really that dangerous? im from new york, and i took a trip to camden, people there will hit you up randomly even if they dont know u, stop acting like your hood goes more hard than the next mans hood, people die everywere but camden is a serious problem

  • wow,new jersey seems pretty damn ghetto,where i live.its way nicerr.

  • @pedigo181 Its sad tho, new jersey is one of the safest states to live in the united states, and it had the worst city in america for 5 years straight.

  • our plans are to eliminate yall

  • i go to camden every week and its real bad. i live in Newark which is pretty bad in Nj but nuttin compared to Camden. and for all u bitches sayin compton is hood. nah its not. i have taken a vacation to california and strolled through compton and it wasnt even anythin compared to camden. camden has been top 5 on the list for years now. compton is slowly slippin down the list and isnt even in the top 10 anymore. and for all u sayin little rock is bad. nowhere compared to camden bro.

  • @xEM1N3Mx i agree with you man i live in oakland california its bad here lots of gangs and crime but i have traveled all over and camden new jersey is very dirty and rundown so to the fag who sad comptons worse noway compton is dangerous has gangs but compton isent rundown and dirty like the places in the midwest and east coast were living conditions are way harder cali living conditions are very nice even in the bad areas they arent that bad

  • @boozeye66 yea man, u know what your talkin bout. all these other fake ppl on here r sayin there hoods are harder and shit when they cant even compare yo. and oakland is pretty bad. oakland is prob worse than compton.

  • Camden is the real shit. Compton and LA barely brush the pubes of the balls on camden.

  • Lols

Compton was obviously worse when it was in it's crime peak....

    be serious now

  • Camden is a shit hole.

  • @jeezyjaygee

comptom is not even the top five for crime rates its just a the steryotype that rappers like ice cube put out into the public for one the most dangerous big city is detroit and La is about ninth on the FBI'S list

  • In A Dream, I See A City Invincible

  • @NewJersey12345678

    funny no

  • One million dollars to live one year in Camden, would you do it?

  • @amazingdany

yeah as long as its not in american currency

  • Your country America should stop fighting wars and deal with the problem of poverty, crime etc, in your own cities.

  • I hate this city

    low class people

  • im from camden and im not low class ar all. Im attending college and doing interships and doing very well in life...so dont say dat

  • Comment removed

  • just dont start stuff wid ppl ur good

  • god bless you man,i grew up in inner city dallas, i dont think its as bad as camden, but still man keep yo head up, you can rise above poverty!!

  • goverment dont give a fuck about the hood.....all they give a fuck about is money

  • Nice man tits fatty. "I wanna be an actor" boy that will really help society. Why don't you get a real degree and do a job society actually benefits from.

  • At least hes trying thats more than people do in camden most want to be drug dealers or gang bangers. DONT DISS him because there are worse jobs out there and whats wrong with being an actor?

  • How old are you? i'm guessing not more than 12 or 13.

  • This looks similar to some neighborhoods down here in new orleans. its like that down here too, sadly. its one reason i dont look at the news anymore on television. a murder pretty much every day

  • My son is DJ Cooley from Camden now in Collingswood.

  • uh maybe one murder per week, the city only has like 36 or 40 murders per year

  • look how small it is though

  • ay asshole.... population is only like 50,000

  • I don't think the candidates care enough to change camden, as bad as it sounds.. they think pouring money into the city may help but thats not the case.. putting the state jail and sewer treatment (that smells DISGUSTING in parts of camden) doesnt help improve the city.. I believe in good people like people at Urban Promise and people who are risking money to open up businesses in camden.. Employ the younger generation so drug's inst the only way of making money.. my 2 cents..

  • What a great question! I watched 20/20 last night about the children of Camden. I bawled almost all the way through it. What people do not realize is that there is poverty and crime in our own country. Why is it that we only relate the to 2nd world countries as that? I just don't understand. I hope that you recieved a response from the cadidates. God bless you!

  • Craig, your concern is sincere, however, the best way to succeed in life is to get good grades in school, so that you can attend college, in order to make something of yourself, and not depend on any one!! Then they will think that they have control over you because they paid your way. You surely don't need that!!!!!!! Be a man. Be your MAN!!!!!!

  • chicagos the hizzle fizz

  • WOW!! Great Question!!!...I actually wonder if there goign to anwser this one!!!

  • Craig, You can do great things for your community here in YouTube... Politicians, are you there? Are you doing something for real or just one more speech on t.v.? -Cuetzpallincihuatl.

  • Craig you are asking a great question that most politicians will be "afraid" to answer.

  • Good going brother. You're sincerity deserves to be rightfully praised.

  • Hey Craig. Level-headed question. Did you get a response from any candidate? As for those who would like to see a gun ban, I'm in favour of it, but it won't do any good. In Britain - where even the police didn't carry until a while ago - illeagal guns are rampant. We need a better solution, like social reform and the government's investment to provide better services and opportunities. You're a good man, Craig. Good luck in school next year.

  • That is Englands problem and the rest of the world's too...you can't legislate good morals into a government program....accept responsibility for your child and raise them right...guns are tools just like hammers, good uses by good people and misuse by bad people...blame the bad people and not the gun...will banning cars stop drunk driving??? I think not.

  • jedirifleman - guns are not the same as hammers, but still, glad to hear you agree generally that it is a social problem. Cheers!

  • thats not camden england its in newjersey

  • I know...England has tried to legislate morals into society...I used them as a failed example to illustrate that you cant ask politicans about how to legislate morals into your community...you must look within your own self and your influence on those around you.

  • I agree, foundations of morals have been tweaked by the worlds greed, hatred, superiority. Certainly not the people themselves. Bless the people, hate the sin!

  • The answer is so simple no candidates will figure out: Ban guns

  • Carrying a gun outside of the home in NJ is already very very illegal.

A nationwide ban you say? Good luck rounding up all the guns, and good luck keeping guns from crossing over the Mexican border.

    QFT, idiot.

  • to yopizza, gullable, misguided, historically challenged, yopizza, if you ban guns then you make the government your slave master. Better to die free than live a life of slavery. They can have my guns 1 bullet at a time. COME GET SOME!!!!

  • That is not a straight answer. That's dumb. Craig, and ALL the children of Camden, need to get an education, so that they can get a job to rise out of povety, and living in slums! Education is the key, then there will be no need for carrying, and using guns.

  • lol i love how you talk of grades when really, you havent stood a day in the streets of any place close to as bad as camden so you honestly wouldent know the first thing about it i for one was raised in the steets of newark and getting a good education there is almost impossible i passed with B's and A's by flirting with teachers and talking all period the teachers are mainly horrible in areas like this...

  • more people like Craig Bazan!

  • ya! tell me about it. He is funny and an amazing actor....not to mention smart. He's like my big brother...its sad he wont be in school next year.....but he's gonna go places!

  • I agree with the comments, You are a role model, Craig

  • columbia all day!!!!!!

  • Keep up your enthusiasm and work. You rock, Craig. You are a credit to the Universe.

  • i love you baby stay strong .....

  • I was a former Camden Teacher...........I think that as a whole everyone needs to be held accountable. Glad you have posed this question. I am waiting for an answer.

  • Craig - when you come to Chicago to go to Columbia College, you should check out Free Street Theater. Seems as though you would enjoy each other.

  • Actor? I think this guy should have his own show.

  • i completely agree!

  • I'm pretty much positive you're a hero, kid.

Keep being a role model for younger kids. :]

  • hey dude, i'm from collingswood!!!

  • Craig,

you seem to be at the core of the problem, given the cultural and economic crisis worldwide.

You're trying to understand how to get us out of it, through Shakepeare, and by asking the candidates to act and protect the future of mankind.

Have you ever enjoyed the International LaRouche Movement?

  • Great question.. and I'd also like to know.. what type of camera you use, because the quality is so good..

  • Good Question ! ....and what kind of Camera are you using??

  • JVC HD110U

  • excellent question and well asked.

  • Great question.

  • Good luck in all your future endevours Craig, you seem like an outstanding person with great ambition and drive

  • indeed...we don't see much people like that anymore...just wannabe eminems and 50 cents...people need better dreams and harder to achieve dreams

  • Thank you for this accurate and true observation. Well put.

  • Hey! I'm going to attend columbia hoping to become a director. Good shit!

  • Ahhh, he's a good actor AND well spoken and intelligent.

  • Despite all the negativity portrayed on the tv, regarding celebrities and their crazy diversions. It is a breath of fresh air to come in here, and see true talent like yours, Craig Bazan, shine through. By sharing your time on youtube with all, you pass on inspiration that covers us all. You have proven a rose can grow among weeds.

  • There should also be police on the beat, as they used to be for decades, generations ago, checking doors, walking and becoming friend, not foe. I would ask that the people get involved with each other more and become family, not just friends and become neighbors, not just a faceless, souless populous.

  • If I were in charge, I would rebuild, stoop by stoop, brick by brick and soul by soul. I would hire only the inner city youth and older citizenry and teach the skills needed to rebuild it so it would glow with pride and be a place to look up to with awe. This "can" and "should" be done.

  • excellent question - and i wish you much luck in the fall!

  • did you get any response ? are they doing something in Camden ?

  • Okay boy good question Im a freshmen starting next year at Creative Arts High School and Im from camden.

  • Thank you.

  • By the way, I love the set you made for the background, it looks like your standing in a war zone.

  • Truth is, in Camden, on nearly or perhaps every corner has an identical location to this background. Atleast where I was born (East Camden) there is a worn out and abandoned home that rots through the years on every street.

In Camden, nothing is really surprising; such as a body in an alley. You just have to keep it moving in NJ as well as in plenty of other cities in the US. Everyday when you wake up, keep your adrenaline pumping and your eyes open because something just may surprise you.

  • More than simply being "voted" a dangerous place Camden actually is a dangerous place. I used to be there, I don't mean any disrespect, but I hate this question because Camden has been asking "someone out there" to fix it for a long time. No one can "fix" Camden except the people of Camden.

  • that was a very impt. question that ppl should stop ignoring!i live in NJ&places like Camden, Newark&Trenton are full of danger&crime!there's a STOP SHOOTING org. in Newark which could be a starting pt.4 Camden.also Newark has new clean establishments(such as NJPAC)which cleaned the community.i by Crome which is very dangerous &they recently built very nice townhouses& apartments.there's obviously more crime in a dumpy trashy environment, but if it's cleaner then think of how ppl would adjust!

  • I like it little Brotha, I cant believe your an adult now! Keep up the great work, break the mold and let it be known! College will open many doors, take advantage of them all!

  • I hear you man. I'm from Newark, we've got alot of the same problems there. I wish that Trenton and Washington would actually help do something about this mess.

  • I go to church at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in South Camden and am painfully aware of how troubled the city is. Great question Craig. I will be watching on Monday night to see if they answer.

Best of luck to you in the future....

  • Wonderful!!!!! Important question asked by the best type of person in the most perfectly sincere way:)
