i just witnessed rourke win the golden globe for best actor for his turn in the wrestler. i applauded his win, and i feel happy for him. now i just have to see the film when it comes out. he was such a beautiful man back in the day. i hate that he threw it all away for the brutal sport of boxing that robbed him of his looks, but evidently not of his talent. good on you rourke, cheers boy.

It's shame what happened to him "meaning the path he took and hearing how he broke every bone in his face in a motor cycle accident which is why he looks the way he does today.

i have searched the internet...i have yahooed and i have googled and i can not find anything that states that rourke was or has ever been in a motorcycle accident. he is a motorcycle enthusiast, and had a hell's angel member has a boxing manager, but he has never been in an accident. his look today is the result of botched plastic surgeries due to the injuries that he sustained in the boxing ring, just to be clear.
