  • 4 people dislike this beautiful nostalgia..? All 4 of you motherfuckers stay away from me..

  • After hearing this....I went and played this game. I couldn't resist

  • Why the FUCK is "Top 10 worst N64 games of all times" in the related section!? >:C

  • When i was a kid i used to think of how many fun adventures i would have in spiral mountain and the rest of the worlds. just like simonstrane said it was the definition of paradise for me too.

  • i want to kill microsoft for what the did to bk bt and conker wtf nuts and bolts was ok but it was not a good bk game. what microsoft did was take my child hood and shit all over it

  • can someone please rebuild this in Minecraft?

  • @FlankoBackup I second that.

  • @xDroflmao1337 Look up BKCraft

  • Rare needs to sell BK's rights to Nintendo and then Retro needs to make Banjo Threeie

  • @smorphintime Microsoft owns BK's rights, and you can bet they won't give it up all too easily.

  • I like this, but the emo depressed version of tooie is better xD

  • @TheHappySelf well im an emo girl and i prefer this theme than Tooie one

  • Tear* T.T Such... Good memories...

  • I used to imagine living in Spiral Mountain when I was a kid. That was the definition of paradise for my 12-year-old self.

  • im so depressed right now i used to play this game all the time a long time ago the best years of my life with my gram and pap now the 85 and both are sick so im realy sad and goin threw memory lane here

  • Living vegetables, DIE!

  • some of these places have bits of children songs

  • @Sadet1991 Most BK themes are based on old folk songs

Spiral Mountain could be a reference to "Zip-a-Dee Do Da" (1946)

In Disney's "Song of the South", you've got a black man, with a blue bird, walking around a cartoon forest, running into all kinds of talking animals.

In BK, we have a brown bear, with a red bird, jumping around a mountain, and we got talking vegetables, pretty much the exact opposite.

Banjos are usually associated with the old south too.

then again, could just be apophenia

  • @props4genu well the only ones who truely know is the makers themselfs

  • Check out my piano rendition of Windy from Conker BFD!

  • Nostalgia

  • Lindo ewe

  • I want to see anther banjo game, but it will probobly be some kinect shit.

  • Michaeldragon800 ruined this song for me!

  • I love that song

  • Dangit! Now I want to play Banjo-Kazooie! LOL time to fire up the old N64.

  • Banjo kazooie ftw

  • Oh god, the only thing I love more than Banjo Kazooie is Spyro. :) Don't bash me for this, guys it's just Spyro was my childhood and Banjo Kazooie is a game I only recently played for the firt time. Both are amazing games.

  • @MissBarghest *BASH INCOMING*

HOW COULD YOU!!!! no seriously how could you RECENTLY PLAY banjo kazooie?!?!?! i have to shake/hit/push my N64 to just start the most holy of games like Super Smash Bros, RUSH, Banjo Kazooie/Tooie, and BLITZ. WHY HAS THE RESET BUTTON NEVER WORKED?!?!?!?! even when it was new XDDD

  • Spriiiiial, mountain go!

  • Wish the new banjo kazooie: bolts and nuts was as good as this one...

  • i love this soooooooooooooooooooooo much. how i wish i still have this game

  • Just finished dk64 agaih. Now its time to restart banjo kazooie

  • carrot, onion and cauliflower were the best baddies ever

  • Good ol' Brett Smelston

  • The best example, that Nintendo has the best Game Music ever in there Games.

  • Im happy that i have both games for my n64.

  • Shed a small tear, ow happy days

  • i love this!! :D

  • I'm having a nostalgia spaz attack!

  • Ahhh the good ol' days! :)

  • I love this game and Super Mario 64 so much!

  • AND THUS, my child hood began.

  • Thumbs Up For Banjo-three-dee (3DS)

  • @SuperUNate Nintendo must buy back Rare first

  • I love this game so much! I'm an old fashion gaming girl. Today's video games are all about shoot zombies and stuff like that and those games are okay I guess but I would choose Super Mario, Legend of Zelda and Banjo Kazooie any day! :D

  • I MISS THIS GAME SO MUCH ;_;

I swear this and the Mario games are the only video-games I've ever liked.

  • @batisetoose what about Zelda? nintendo easily had the trifecta of the best games there ever was and ever will be

  • @batisetoose really? i guess u never played the snes then. check it out its got a great game called donkey kong country, made by the same people that made banjo kazooie and tooie.

  • 4 people couldn't find Bottle's next molehill....

  • Topper, Colliwobble, Bawl and Quarry disliked this.

  • Comment removed

  • How Banjo-Kazooie SHOULD BE.

  • I am replaying the Banjo games right now! Not because I watched this but because you should always be playing them!

  • banjo kazooie is my childhood in a cartridge.to bad i don't think i ever finished the game. xD

  • Banjo-Kazooie ist das beste Spiel aller Zeiten! Vielen Dank für diese! :)

  • Banjo-Kazooie - let's all have a sing and dance. Banjo-Tooie - ...let's bury Bottles.

  • @leftymu So true.

  • deutsch/german das spiel habe ich auf nintendo 64 /english:I have the game on nintendo 64 I love the music of banjo kazooie

  • deutsch/german das spiel habe ich auf nintendo 64 /english:I have the game on nintendo 64

  • I play this music when i do Lawn work.

  • This game is a drug to me,

  • 1 game each year like this would be better than 40 of wars

  • Spirals?

So that's why Banjo-Kazooie wins so much; SPIRAL POWER

  • Games like this always remind me of why nintendo will always be host to some of the most classic single player titles ever. M$ may have bought rare, but nintendo is still going strong and they have a plan, i can only wait and see what great single player epics await in the future.

  • why is every1 talking bout halo and cod when this game haves nothing to do with them?? ._., banjo-kazooie its way too kool for them :P, i repent myself for giving this game to my cousin, I want it back T.T

  • @linkronny lol, i hear you, at least your cousin can enjoy it too, though.

  • king K.Rool:YEAH, F#CK YOU!!( 4 DISLIKERS)

  • You guys keep leaving one of Rare's best titles.... Conker's Bad Fur Day for 64, xbox version blows so dont even mention that one lol

  • the dislike bar looks like justin biebers penis

  • @warfare2pwnzu But... there IS no dislike bar. Oh I get it.

  • I have one dream in life, to make it as a major game developer. And I swear, I SWEAR if I do, I WILL bring back the adventure platformer genre. Banjo-Kazooie, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the Dragon, Super Mario 64. These are the games we need again.

  • @len8946 can't wait to see that companies and people these day are starting to care way to much about graphics that they forget the actual fun.

  • @len8946 I have a dream of bringing back classic cartoons. I got a series I'm working on, and it's gonna be amazing. Good luck to you, man. Lookin' forward to what you'll make in the future.

  • @len8946 don't forget conker. conker reloaded sucked balls.

  • @ri394

Thats true. A lot of games suck balls when compared to the orginial Conkers though :P

  • @len8946 You should hire me in a couple years. I think modern games tend to lack the love and care put into games of this genera. I plan to go to college next year and aim to earn a programming degree.

  • @omnious305

Im still 3 years from college yet, but I am taking a multimedia course next year. If youre making games in australia in the next few years then sure :P

  • @len8946 Companies don't understand what good series they had sold, it stinks they did and hopefully this dream will happen.

  • @rosiejac

That is so true :/ Maybe I'll end up making Banjo-threeie and it will be like the orginals again! ;P

  • @len8946 Sweet man, me too. Good luck :D.

  • @Plutoxian You too! Maybe we will make a game together one day! ;D

  • @len8946 Don't forget Donkey Kong 64 :)

  • @guillaumecantley

I wont! :P And same with the Donkey Kong Country series. DKC Returns didnt feel as true to its predecedors as it could have :/ It was still a good game though

  • @len8946 I personally like that DCK Returns doesn't have the same "feel" as the others. Don't get me wrong, I love the Super Nintendo games, but when I buy a new game, I expect a NEW game and that's exactly what it is. :D

  • @BollyBibby Thats fair enough :P I still loved the game, I just missed K Rool :P He was an awesome boss in DKC. Im just happy that they managed to pull off the graphic change from old to modern, unlike say... Nuts and Bolts? :P

  • @len8946 You DARE to steal my idea? Well , then again , I never thought about the platform genre. Hmmm. I'll get to work on making an idea for that.

  • @len8946 I LOVE THIS AND SPYRO! the platforming genre is still here though. nintendo is the master of them all!

but i do still miss spyro and banjo kazooie.

  • @LlamasInYourCloset Is spyro real good? Is it similar to BK what I mean is the true legendary platform??

  • @nawaf10soccer spyro is amazing! it's a platformer like BK. and it's really fun. but i'm talking about the first 3 spyro games on the original Playstation.

  • @LlamasInYourCloset YAA!! That's what I'm talking about! Thanks for letting me know man! Appreciated it!! BTW, what do u have to do in Spyro??

  • @nawaf10soccer (wow that's weird i got on youtube right when you replied)

well in the first spyro, you have to save your dragon friends and family who got turned into stone scattered across the land. (the levels are really cool) and you collect gems for extras.

it's a classic! :D search videos of it if you wanna.

  • Rareware is dead since they left Nintendo for MS, just need to take a look at shitty games like perfect dark zero or nuts & bolts, srsly Rare ?

  • most awesome game in the world rly

  • love this game so much. Damn it rare, go back to Nintendo and make banjo-Threeie!

  • @abooa456 sadly rare works for microsoft and gave us the most crapiest banjo kazooie ever we waited a long 8 years and thats all we got and i also doupt they will ever make us a banjo fourie

  • I can't believe the music in this game is still stuck in my head, 13 years after the fact.

  • R.I.P. Alex 'Aaagreen' Green. Constantly linking me to this damn video for years. He died not long ago from cancer.

    Rest in peace, friend.

  • @NorogDavid Who is Alex Green?

  • There is no more Spyro, no Crash, No true Banjo and Kazooie, not even Gex. Most of the games that were childhood defining are gone.

There are no new characters or games to carry on the tradition of themed levels, the next generation are spoiled brats playing BLOPS and Halo.

Mario got distracted with sports games, and Galaxy is hardly a franchise continuation that essentially died with Sunshine. And Link has no idea what he's doing and no two games share the same story cannon.

    All else is dead

  • I miss Banjo-Kazooie...I WANT THEM BACK!

  • I wonder how anybody CANNOT like this?

    This is like pure legendary.

  • banjo kazooie N a B sucks....

  • This music is SO Cute.

  • Today`s top games really suck donkey balls, the games back on the n64 like super mario 64, banjo kazooie, smash bros. were the best of all time, plus you never heard a kid rage quitting on banjo kazooie screaming at a t.v just because of 1 death.

  • I wonder whatever happened to the silliness that went into games like this.

It made the game more enjoyable in my opinion.

  • @Cloaytonem2 Don't worry, they're still being made ;)

  • COMBUSTABLE LEMONS

  • @YoYoErStUbBs Engineer, noooo! *atomic explosion*

  • 3 people can not beat the carrot the onion and the cauliflower

  • Check out my renditions of Conker the King and Windy on piano from Conker BFD!! Also, check out my renditions of Click Clock Wood and Freezeezy Peak!

  • I loved this game. *nostalgic*

  • Comment removed

  • Ok, if you dont love this game you have serious issues.

  • @CRAIGGU4 Believe Me I love both Kazooie and it's sequel Tooie and I kind of like DK64 but as for Nuts & Bolts well I only played the demo but from what little of it I played I could tell the magic the Banjo series had was gone in that game as for the GBA one it was traditional but lackluster in comparison to the two N64 title. You know even though I started doing My own voice acting in games that lack it with Mario, Banjo-Kazooie is the game that defined My voice acting *2bcont.*

  • @CRAIGGU4 I have never played game, but i still love it for its songs :3

  • I remember playing this game for my first time, i was so lost and confused, and scared, but now i know where EVERYTHINGS at and what to do....it dont bore me, but i wish i could relive my first time playing it, i was 4 years old and now im 17 :p

  • the theme that started it all....

  • damn this game was creepy when i was a young turd

  • R.I.P. Original Spiral Mountain theme......... ='(

  • I... I think im gonna cry this.... This is music not those crappy rap songs not techno shit THIS is where my childhood began

  • @DumDum5551 AMEN

  • i am grinning furiously.

  • I hate how this song becomes depressing in the second one...

  • @Linkage1992 i know its so sad sounding

  • i can hear Banjo making gibberish sounds while he's talking right now! :-)

  • 3 dislikes were from a Bawl, a Collywobble and a Topper. If a 4th occurs it would be from a Quarry.

  • the theme that started it all....

  • I love this game!! XD back in the N64 days!! whoever agrees Nintendo should have this for download give this a thumbs up XD

  • The Kazoo is my favorite instrument.

  • The song is so depressing in Banjo-Tooie. Just saying.

  • @MegaKnight74 That version made me cry, knowing your best friend is dead, your house is destroyed, Roysten is under a rock suffocating and the odds are against you. That's what that song says in Banjo-Tooie.

  • imagine this playing when you go out to you're front yard on the way to school.

.... ahh, banjo and, his fine feathered friend, kazooie never cease to amaze.

  • rola muy buena

  • finish the f.... arrriiiiiiiiiir

  • @Aeoncalcos91

You sir...have officially won the game and 50 billion internets.

  • I really don't see the hype in Halo, Call of Duty & Gears of War. Is this really what gaming has come to? What happened to these great adventure games? I'd take Banjo over Halo any day cause I don't feel like paying for a system with the Red ring of death & I'm not going to pay for games like C.O.D that are obviously uninspired. We need color, We need adventure, We need a light hearted feeling to our games, We need single player gameplay value again! I'm sick of fighting wars!

  • @Aeoncalcos91

It's fun how RRoD is always brought up when the PS3's YLoD is much more common, and in terms of reliablity dont even mention cartridges.

  • @Aeoncalcos91 I guess Bush's love of war influenced gamers as well. We need an adventure loving Clinton because all the good games were in the 90's. The reign of Clinton was the Golden Age of life, now we're all in a Fool's Gold Age. Come back to Nintendo Rareware. D:

  • @SanMateoBuddhistdude Agreed :)

  • @SanMateoBuddhistdude I actually know of a petition that could help Nintendo & Rareware get back together again. :) Just go type in Nintendo Please Buy Back Rare on google or yahoo and follow the link. It's worth a shot to try. Join in and spread the word. :)

  • @Aeoncalcos91 The one character that still doesn't make since between Nintendo and Rare is Tiptup. I don't know if he's owned by Nintendo or Rare because he appeared in Banjo and Kazooie but also in both Diddy Kong racing (N64 version is owned by Rare but the DS version is owned by Nintendo). Also thanks for the petition link. :D

  • @SanMateoBuddhistdude I think Rare owns Tiptup due to him showing up in both N64 Banjo games. That's just what I think though. Spread the word about that petition. :)

  • @SanMateoBuddhistdude Tiptup is owned by Rare. The only reason that Diddy Kong Racing released on the DS, is because Microsoft doesn't give a shit about the handheld market, so they're fine with allowing Rare games and characters to appear on Nintendo's handhelds.

  • @PistonHonda22 Well...Diddy Kong belongs to Nintendo, Not Rare.

  • @Aeoncalcos91 might i suggest the wii 2 ?

yes, the wii 2, its gonna have better everything then the ps3 & xbox360..

    holy shitwaffles!

yes that means all oldskool fans are getting those precious oldskool gems back rebooted and prettier then ever!

  • @shadowkid1993 I think Nintendo would still have to get Rareware back with them for us to see Banjo, Conker and the rest of their franchises. Nice Idea though :)

  • @shadowkid1993

to bad their calling it project cafe. (see Wikipedia)

  • @Aeoncalcos91 I totally agree! DAMN!!! I MISS MY CHILDHOOD SOOOOO MUCH!!!

  • @Aeoncalcos91 Very well put!

  • @Aeoncalcos91 I think I got something in my eye....that was beautiful! T.T

  • @Aeoncalcos91 well put mate, games like cod are too realistic, we need games that in a make believe fun adventure world. like mario 64, banjo kazooie and so on.

  • @Aeoncalcos91 gaming is shit now.

People maked games not for people. They make for money. And thats all. Shooter is easy to make. Adventure games need hard work and good people.

  • @Aeoncalcos91 I agree with that list except for one thing. Gears of War is known for its manliness and great cover system. Too much FPS these days. just stick to the good games.

  • @Aeoncalcos91 YOU SAID IT!!!!

  • @NintendoVeteran85 unfortunately rare was bought out by the company that makes those games I think.I was wishing when the DS first came out I was going to see banjo-kazooie DS donkey kong 64 DS or something but no we only get diddy kong racing >_>

  • @emootaku30 diddy kong racing of all games! STARFOX IS RARE!!!! -_- They like to torture us. 2 words that do not go together..."Microsoft Works" 2 words that DO go together "Microsoft FAILS!!!"

  • @NintendoVeteran85 Don't forget Microsoft makes windows

  • @TheWaluigiking 2 words that don't go together "Microsoft Works"

  • @NintendoVeteran85 Windows 7. o.o What 'bout that?

  • @BubblesLeafeon i mean the older ones :/ not the new ones, i like Windows 7. I'm talking about the old slow, glitchy systems and all that.

  • @Aeoncalcos91 -sigh- another delusional moron who goes around shouting RROD you need help -.- wanna know what gaming has come to? YOU. you may want these games back but your just as delusional as the rest.

  • @DSXentertainment How do you figure he is delusional? I have gotten the red ring of death on two different Xboxes, the systems aren't perfect and even if it was, the games sure as hell aren't. Everything he has said about modern day games is true. Ever since the CoD and Halo craze, no developer wants to put time into a decent storytelling experience and focuses on online gaming. An online mode does not make a good game and I am personally tired of uninspired 'realism' over a great fantasy.

  • @XxArmorDylanxX Don't take my comment as a Sony fan comment because they are to blame as well. The only company that attempts to make quality games is Nintendo, but you see how far that gets them, they're ratings go down because everybody cries for online gaming. I am disappointed with gaming as a whole these last few years and companies need to get some originality instead of trying to compete with eachother to make the perfect FPS and the community needs to demand more from these companies.

  • @XxArmorDylanxX hmph you'd realize that the N64 suffered from using cartridges it was entirely very crappy compared to the ps1 and saturn the ps2 itself is replaced more than a crappy CD-I these are examples of both great systems with nostalgic volume but are doomed to failure rates i've had the same 360 for 3 years and there are some memorable titles even on the original XBOX

  • @DSXentertainment N64 did suffer from usin cartridges but it's still kept it's game up because of Rare and not only that N64 has been memorible for adventure games and a few fps like goldeneye and perfect dark I prefer those over COD and Halo but don't get me wrong COD and Halo are fun but it didn't have that feelin' like COD or Halo does:/

  • @DeathExpulsive989 I meant Goldeneye or perfect dark

  • @DeathExpulsive989 That's not the point N64 had a bit of faults being inferior and using cartridges that set it back quite a bit however it is praised whilist the xbox 360 has faults but does have a library of good games that aren't all shooters even banjo-threeie is a 360 game even the two naruto games were a mix of adventure and fighting and those were great naruto games on 360 but the 360 and wii are inferior to ps3 and are hated but n64 is vice versa, wtf?
