If lead can block gamma rays I'm sure it can block the radiation from kryptonite, where the radiation causes poisoning to humans after years of constant exposure (Lex Luthor in Justice League: Injustice for All). Kryptonite radiation is, generally, weak in comparison to gamma rays. It's not like this robot was Amazo

Amazo was just different in that respect, being an android. Hence why in Justice League they had to create a wormhole far enough away from the Sun to drain the anti-matter that was attacking the fusion reactions in it, but not too far or it'd miss, but not too close or it'd tear the Sun apart. That is physics in terms of applying the Schwarzchild Formula.

I think the reason he was able to fight the robot with the Kryptonite so close was because the robot used the metal door to attack him, effectively putting a shield in front of Superman which decreased the radiation. The door might even have had some lead in it, which would have helped to negate the radiation even more.

The door was lined with lead, otherwise superman couldn't fly, this is shown when they first arrive at luthor's place. the other clips merely represented luthor and joker's opinion of batman and superman. batman must rely on fear physiology to frighten criminals, a strategy, rather then superman's answer to smash everything, like, really hard. So why compare a Man of Steel to a Dark Knight? Both using different tactics to fight crime and there rogue galleries are completely different. To prove Superman is better due to powers is stupid. Sure, physically, Superman is much more powerful, but Batman is just a human being, he's also more educated than Superman and more prepared than Supes. I think the reason he was able to fight the robot with the Kryptonite so close was because the robot used the metal door to attack him, effectively putting a shield in front of Superman which decreased the radiation. The door might even have had some lead in it, which would have helped to negate the radiation even more.

Ok, here's my 2 cents.
Batman and Superman are cool. Batman's last movie ruled, while Superman's was lame, but it could have been better.
Superman has just as much Character as Batman, but most people who don't really know anyway kind of assume Batman has more because everyone knows his parents died.
And lastly, it's not that easy being superman. Villains that can go toe to toe with him are more common then people think (he can be peirced by Wonder Woman's tiara for pete's sake).
