  • lip biting haha clinton's signature move

  • The looking away when talking or answering a question is a sign of lying (?), no. For me i do it all the time even when im telling a lie and the truth. I personally cant look or stare at someone when talking, i find that unconvertable.

  • Excellent video. Ordering the book! Thank you.

  • i was interrogated and got upset so i fidgeted. its bullshit.

  • Easiest way to catch a liar is questioning, constant questioning makes ppl angry & lose track of what there lie is... Often resulting in the liar being quiet & finally confessing..

  • If that statement isn't a lie then he would be lying by saying he was a liar. But he would also be telling the truth b/c he said he was a lair so hmm is a lie really the truth or the other way around THINK about that those 2 guys said under me

  • i am a liar and I dont do any of those suspicious things

  • @MmoComando how do I know that your statement isn't a lie!?

  • This is helpful because I found out who stole my $500 iPod

  • for more great info check out detecting body language.com :)

  • lol this is such rubbish, your more likely to interpret gestures incorrectly than identify a liar.

  • so what do youdo when someone is really really good at lying. I look away when I talk and wander off. when I talk I imagine it and look up or somewhere and sometimes I look in the eyes too

  • I am always biting my lips...

  • im gonna try this on my bf...

  • I'm totally gonna try this on my boyfriend :) He's easy to catch in a lie. But most of the time I'm to late.

  • gonna try it out on my girlfriend :D

  • lol he says bowling instead of bullying

  • 5 dislikes are from those players that lie to chicks all the time XD

  • 60% of comunication is body language. 40% is words. Ever since I was young I could tell before someone talks to me if they are a good person or bad. It's a gift.

But I still want to read that book.

  • ...guess who's going to practice this tomorrow at work? :P

  • How do you know politicians are lying?

    their lips are moving

  • Does briefly scrunching your face real fast detect a liar? Like when it likes like you smelled something awful and you scrunch your face and nose briefly.

  • @kenshin11 Well, that actually means disgust or scorn, which means the person might be mad at what you said to them. It could mean there lieing.

  • actually those whole few seconds seems fully loaded, wonder if they exchanged numbers.

  • hmmm, 0:57 the inteviewer jiggles her body, camera flicks to him and he jiggles just the same :P

  • @Threestems so true and so funny. Thanks for sharing that as I missed it the first time around.

  • In front of camera, American tv presenters talk and behave as if they're talking to children or to mentally challenged adults. Sadly, in most of the other countries the tv houses are copying that formula and training their tv persons according to it.

  • every1 is different

  • Here comes the witch hunt.

  • How do we know this study isnt a lie?

  • This guys looking down or up to the left too telling about these terms!

  • @onlee16 exactly.

  • i sometimes look away when i'm telling the truth, i just want to word an answer nicely (such as in an interview context) or when i'm trying to word one that is not a clear yes or no, as something that takes a lot more thought and explaination. and some people fidget because they're naturally nervous--or they've done nothing wrong but the interviewer/conversation partner makes them nervous for some reason. i can be nervous around men i find both physically and /or mentally attractive.

  • body language is ambiguous

  • @nofxmike06 How? You mean different gestures have multiple meanings? If so then I agree.

  • @camreeno360 Yes. That's exactly what I mean.

  • @nofxmike06 I don't think that's what they're arguing though. I think they're just sounding like that to simplify for the audience. He's talking on a basis of averages.

  • @camreeno360 Statistics are bullshit [in the context of manipulating the control group to reach a pre-determined hypothesis with the data]. If statistics are reached from an unbiased survey of the masses then I may be inclined to believe them. I have yet to hear of anyone in this world being unbiased. Averages, like statistics, create a correlation[ but only in the context of the control group]. I'll agree on that.

  • @camreeno360 oh, I'm sorry. I was arguing with myself. Did you say something?

  • This is total bullshit. I touch and scratch my neck and face all the time, with no change in frequency or location whether I'm talking to someone or not, and whether I'm lying or not.

  • @mostliberal Yes thats why people must discover a baseline. It's not "total" bullshit your just being an idiot. Its not just the movement by touching your face all the time. If you do that when you tell the truth then we'll see in the baseline. And we'll spot what you do when you lie because you wont do what you do when you tell the truth. So don't act all big because you're COMPLETELY wrong.

  • @dorrismate Not really, you're just full of propaganda. My own mother (who's supposed to read my tells better than anyone) can't tell the difference between when lie and when I tell the truth (based on the same % of accusations that Iwas lying in both cases when Ilie or tell the truth). I speak very monotonously, and in few words, with a constant gaze at the other person's eyes. I've even been accused by cops and teachers of lying, while I wasn't, and while they were obviously looking for tells.

  • Chuck Norris can tell his eyes not to dilate!!

  • I always look either left or right after being asked a question and ready to say the truth. It helps me remember and think before answering back, it's not because I'm lying.I've been doing this naturally and I realized I looked like a liar after I heard experts talking about how to catch a liar. I also tilt my head during a conversation(another sign of lying!). So we are not all alike and don't jump to conclusions so fast because some might actually say the truth when they do all this stuff!

  • @laylaindy lair

  • @chalke007 So, you don't understand what these people in this video are talking about, do you? Do you actually speak English? If not, now it's a good opportunity for you to learn a new word: "LAIR" means:

    1. a den or resting place of a wild animal, for example: "The cougar retired to its lair".

    2. a secluded or hidden place, esp. a secret retreat or base of operations; a hideout or hideaway: "a pirate's lair".

    3. British . a place in which to lie or rest; a bed.

  • @laylaindy

lollolol u took it seriously ......did i make any serious charges..........its just a funny reply !!

n by the way its just typing mistake....its shows thats u dont understand any thing.....

  • @laylaindy a LAIR? whats a LAIR?

  • @laylaindy Look its called a baseline, You ask simple questions and you see there reaction and there body movements. Then you ask them a question to see what they look like when they lie or you can see what they do when they lie because they dont do these body movements so sort it out. Because this is true its fact not opinion.

  • He dude, you clock has stalled.

  • I can tell my pupils to not dilate

  • to learn boy language in full go to my site evolutionofbodylanguage(dot)com I think it covers everything or if you have a questions not answer just ask me ill try find out

  • This guy on the video is the biggest PRETENDER on here. The fool is far from an expert on anything, he is just pretending to be one. Fool and LIAR this idiot is. Listen and watch the idiot for yourselves. Cant believe anyone would listen to or pay this fool a dime.

  • Stop Looking at me SWAN!!!!!!

  • Bunch of crap.

  • Makes me think that the key to avoid getting scammed is to trust yourself and your instincts. When that inner alarm goes off, don't walk...run!...

  • What about con-men. Do they use a louder tone of voice to try to sell you their BS? Because a fake guy at my work does this.

  • umm, I lie sometimes, (like everybody else) but hell i'm a great one, I know how to act, and control my body. I look so honest. I have never been caught.

  • @00bleeding ...ok

  • @dondongo666 sure no problem :)

  • @00bleeding until now...

  • I must be a con man. I always keep eye contact

  • Most hand gestures or twiddling of thumbs is trying to reassure yourself. When you cross your arms you are getting defensive and are also lying trying to protect yourself.

  • Navarro Joe Navarro Joe! Navarro Joe Navarro Joe! *Dun Dun Duun Dun Duuuuuun* *Dun Dun Duun Dun Duuuuuun*

  • The typical TV presenter voice is really annoying

  • My boyfriend coughs when he is lying or stretching the truth...total giveaway every time...haha.

  • @sexygrl81 Don't let him find out about that tell or don't rely on him not finding it out. He can use it against you

  • the eye thing is true - i tend to not always keep eye contact when telling truth but always keep a constant eye contact when deceiving people to make them think I telling the truth.

  • this is really useful thanx
