Sony has a firmware upgrade(version MO3.R.695) for the BDP S270. When bought new, the S270 had version MO3.R.473. Three ways to upgrade. Network, create a disc, or order the upgrade disc. It was modified 11/19/2010. Go to Sony bluray to get the upgrade info.
@joeldude76 You have to buy an adapter and plug it in the back so it can pick up a wirless connection. it cost around 70 or 80 dollars. But you can use an ethernet cable.
@TheJosht1603 oh because i got a magnafox that cost 118 dollars for christmas and it comes with the wireless thing but like ur situation my tv doesnt have hdmi and the one i got only has hdmi so im returning that one and getting this for the same price tomarrow at walmart but im not angry my mom didnt know shes not tech savy
@joeldude76 im not for sure this blu ray is still 94 dollars because i got mine on sale. it was origanaly 128 tho. i would recomend this man. it's got a kool feature that i shown in my video which there is a little blu light on front of it. nothing special but it looks good while its on. Just to let you know that its not that bright tho because you dont want it to bright because it will blind you while watch a movie. But really you need a hdmi capatable tv to get the most out of your blu ray!
i bought the 370 series has intenrt ready but for some reason no netflix :S

I have this exact Blu Ray player. It's a great player and can stream Netflix very fast.
