Zooming the Moon at Night with the Sony HDR-SR12

hey, I have the same camera..,

I used the "fireworks" scene setting to zoom in on the moon, it seems to work the best!!

You should try manually adjusting the Exposure so you get a better, cleaner look of the Moon ;)

Cheers for the tips, still trying to get a grip on how to use the sr12. Trying to achieve the same results as in your vids.

All can be done from the "Cam Ctrl" dial (the silver button/thingy on the front of your camera). ;)
