You should have shown how to tweak the laser pots in the drive. That changes the strength of the lasers ability to read CDs AND Games. One pot is for the laser reading CDs and the other Games. This should be done ideally with a multimeter turning in the proper direction according to your drive make. If no multimeter, then adjustments must be done a FRACTION at a time, until the laser reads the games. Ensuring the laser is properly situated in the correct place to begin with. End of.............

There are two tweek pots on the laser on these drives. One is for reading DVDs and the Other is for Reading Games. These often require adj-ting for reading games. This can be done quite easily, and must be adjusted with very small adj-ments to the pot. ANYONE WILL COPIED GAMES.THAT HAVE TAKEN A LATEST DASHBOARD UPDATE. Will require the drive re-flashed again and those games that have AP2.5 checks MUST BE re-ripped and re-patched. Like BLACK OPS ETC or the games WILL fail the challenges. OUTRIGHT

Yes that happened to me, so go on eBay and buy a brand new disc drive, that's what I did. They cost 9.99 and it saves you from spending 50 to send it in, or buying a new 360. :)

actually you can go way father with the right tools such as a 1.5 allen wrench but you can take the pallet which spins the dist out and clean it with a nonflamable oil and adjust the pallet position which should fix 95% of problems its almost never a dusty laser but just saying
