Hmm... You should have got the update (Windows Mobile 6) for the TyTN. The comparison would have been better.

and you dont have to turn on and turn off the illuination fr keypad on older one...its auto sensing.....( with ref to 4:55)

for general use, and if you don't need GPS, the TyTn 1 is much better value for money. The QWERTY on the new TyTn is VERY unresponsive compared to the old one and regularly misses out letters when typing.

In respect to its camera, The TyTn 2 is appaling, but then again all windows mobile cameras are utter poo.

I have a TyTn 2 and a Portege G900 at the moment. I personally think the camera is better on the G900, although none of them hoold a candle to my old N95 which I really miss.

the old tytn can read memory cards upto 16gb(maybe even 32 gb) basically all SDHC cards... same goes for the new one.

i loved the N95 screen and speed but the office of the TYTN and the qwerty are great

I loved the N95 for the media and the TyTN for business
