A human player could quite likely air recover out of that combo. There's a good quarter second window in every cycle there. The AI seems to have problems with exploiting that.

I discovered this a while back, but I could only ever get it to work on Cloud, I guess because he's the one with the longest stun time.

around 0:32 where the upward thrust of shield is. You're falling already. This amount of gap can screw up the combo against different characters. But it was against cloud so I guess it didn't screw up much. Though it still was kind of off. got to get a better timing of it otherwise if you use it against *say zidane* he will just dodge/block/fall out of the combo.
