I'm really hoping that Treyarch decides to eventually come back and fix some of the problems in Black Ops. Honestly, there are very few, but because the game is otherwise quite balanced, the problems are that much more noticeable. The FAMAS and Ghost are the only things that need serious change, and if those are no longer a problem then I'll be playing BO long after any future CoD game has come and gone.

@veilsidefun The patch roughly turned the FAMAS into an LMG, but the problem is that you can get past most of what it did just by using Sleight of Hand. The hipfire spread and increased recoil have minimal effect, as the gun still shoots absurdly fast, meaning that by the time the recoil really kicks in you've already fired enough bullets to kill someone. The problem with weapons like the FAMAS and AUG is that they kill incredibly fast.

I actually find hardened a better choice instead of sleight of hand because you won't need quick reloads if you can get a kill pretty easily . And the opponents most likely have a full auto, meaning if you aim down the sights, you'll go off target.

@BigMyk100 acog and suppressor is almost the most inaffective combo for guns especially full auto's that don't need the range increase. suppressor (or any other attachment) and sleight of hand is way better and will get you out of tricky situations faster and better in general. also you shouldn't use an acog for such a med-short range weapon

@ChChChEm I actually used it last night. Worked surprisingly well since my shots killed behind obstacles. The no flinching while getting shot at was handy, but not necessary for me. I like Steady Aim Pro since I can immediately aim down the sight faster after sprinting.

@ProjectGibix yeah same here, i usually use lightweight,steadyaim pro, marathon.. but ive been playing nuketown247 so had to switch lightweight to flak jacket and i decided to give hardened a try after waching this a while ago and its awsome, i didnt bther getting pro because im only using it on the stakeout so the flinch doesnt bother me, i tend to aim right at the chest so if i flinch i just get a headshot lol

Well coming from a guy who personaly has over 8500 kills with the stake out i have to disagree in some areas. Best perks are flat jacket slight of hand and tactical mask pro. Flat jacket gives you the abilty to clear claymore prone areas slight of hand give you a faster aim faster, faster cycle and reload resulting in much a nastier and efficient massacer and tactical mask make it much easyer to locate flashed victims in a timley matter and also help you survive 60 percent of flashes perpatrated

Marathon Pro

Moving fast towards the enemy helps to get into close quarter combat. By the time they see you, they're dead. Steady aim helps when I need to fire off a shot in a hurry or aim after sprinting. Marathon is obviously the best choice to greet players with a face full of lead.

In my opinion, steady aim fits the lightweight - marathon setup better, because of the pro version that makes the gun that you are holding raise quicker after sprinting, helps you to survive more 50/50 combats.
