Great stuff here!=) But i get an error when i use this method, when i Wire them together. It say's:
There is an illegal self reference involving the Ik chain node in the exposeTransform expose transform helper. in order to fix this the exposetransform expose node will be set empty.

you try this:
create a shape to be parent of the main bone, so when you create the IK, you link the last shape to this main shape and not to the bone.
and the middle shape should also be child of this new shape.
also, pay attention who is the parent of the Expose Transform, because Max have some refresh issues
