  • @SarahShlomo Good for you, FYI its Arab ;) nice try

  • @Argento1853 Then again your exaggeration goes beyond stupidity, 1.5?? Check again.

  • @Argento1853 Coptic?? Really really, falafel was made in Akka acre, dude we get it you hate our guts but please you don't have the impunity to talk about our tradition so don't dabble in what you don't know

  • Latkes and bagels are Jewish, right?

  • Israel has the most tasty food culture! LUV IT! A large varity of VEGGIE and VEGAN food! AND it's healthy...

  • ""The possibility of large-scale transfer of a population by force was demonstrated, when the Greeks and the Turks were transferred [after WW I]. In the present war [referring to WW II] the idea of transferring a population is gaining more sympathy as a practical and the most secure means of solving the dangerous and painful problem of national minorities."

    - David Ben-Gurion.

Once again, sounds very much like Hitler: "painful problem of national minorities." !!

  • @SuperAntiZionist Citation needed. Is this another fake quote? Clearly, the idea of "large scale transfer" was never seriously considered or implemented, if you read Benny Morris's book 1948

  • "We must expel the Arabs and take their place." - David Ben Gurion.

It seems the Jewish immigrants also decided to steal their cuisine as well.

  • @SuperAntiZionist thats disturbingly racist. I'm Irish- if i make and eat pizza am I "stealingl" Italian culture ? If I make and eat Chinese food, am I "stealing" their cuisine? Your comment is sick, disturbing and completely intolerant. This lovely film is about Israeli food reflecting the diversity of the country. Nearly one million

jews were expelled from Arab land- they moved to israel- this is part of their heritage

  • @SuperAntiZionist from "Ben Gurion and the Palestinian Arabs" by Shabtai Teveth.

Ben Gurion " ...the Arab community in Palestine is an organic, inseparable part of the landscape. It is embedded in the country. The Arabs work the land and will remain." p. 28

  • @Tristan94702

Yes he was a very good politician and knew how to talk. Pity he let his mouth run a bit:

"We must EXPEL ARABS and take their places .... and, if we have to use force-not to dispossess the Arabs of the Negev and Transjordan, but to guarantee our own right to settle in those places-then we have force at our disposal."

  • @SuperAntiZionist This is a false quote, as are the others you have cited.

From Ben Gurion and the Palestinian Arabs by Shabtai Teveth.

    p. 28 With the help of the Jews, the Arabs would prosper.... "We are building and revitalizing the country, wrote Ben Gurion...We will win the land through its reclaimation, and our renewal in this land will come through the renewal of the land itself, and that means the renewal of its Arab inhabitants."

  • @Tristan94702 you can tell that to my dead ancestors whom descendant has been cleansed out of their land by the haganah in 1945....

as for the food, the irish can cook pizza, but when they claim pizza is an irish invention am sure the italians wont be happy about it , and the rest of the world will laugh at you and call you a liar ...

  • @sorealittty you've probably never noticed that when people say "Israeli food", THAT includes the Arabs as well, since they are citizens of Israel, thus an integral part of what defines "Israeli" culture.

  • @sorealittty The middle eastern food that you see so popular in Israel was brought in by Mizrahi Jews who were 70% of Israeli Jews until 1990. Falafel, tahini, causcous etc was all brought in by Jews. JEWS DID NOT COME FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD. THEY CAME MOSTLY FROM ARAB LANDS AND EUROPE.

  • @SuperAntiZionist There are 1.5 million Israeli Arabs idiot. Pasta, Pascualina is part of Argentinian culture, why? Because of the Italians there.

  • Nice video. I'm Lebanese Catholic and our cultures are very similar :) Falafel and Shawarma are arab though.

  • "In many parts of the country new settlement will not be possible without transferring the [Palestinian] Arab fellahin.. . . . Jewish power, which grows steadily, will also increase our possibilities to carry out the transfer on a large scale."

"With compulsory transfer we [would] have a vast area [for settlement] .... I support compulsory transfer. I don't see anything immoral in it." (Just like Hitler saw nothing immoral about stealing "living space - lebensraum - for one ethnic group only)

  • @theleb4life Shawarma is not Arabic, it's originally Turkish. Falafel is from the Ancient Coptic Egyptians, before the Arab invaded Egypt.
