  • i remember seeing this when i was 5 or 6 all i remmember is when the train hit them at the end

  • im bored on cam

    looking for friends 1g

  • I loved this movie when I was a kid, a double feature with Vanishing Point at the drive-in.

This Charger today, in mint condition, however would be worth more than the entire budget of this film in 1974!

  • I wouldn't say that much, since the budget was around 3 millions for that picture lol.

  • Cool car

  • The Charger is beautiful from any angle and the slotted wheels make it look wicked. Perfect look for that beast.

  • well right about that time dem duke boys...

  • The best Sound from the Charger is when the camera is behind, when shift automatic back from the side, and Specially when Larry drives on the sand, it´s Extrem

  • i gotta find this on DVD

  • It is out there. Got it.

  • Car chases as good as Dukes Of Hazzard series.

  • DOes anyone have the TV version, with the deleted scenes?

  • I loved this movie when I was a kid! I would put it in league w/ 'Duel,' starring Dennis Weaver! The sheriff in the movie was the guy who died in the 'Twilight Zone' movie. He was funny b/c he was such a ball-buster! He would refer to Peter Fonda as'clown.' While boarding a helicopter used in the pursuit, he had one memorable line that went like this: heli-pilot: "I'm real good at following orders;" sheriff: "Good, because I give a lot of them."

  • Mopars rule.

  • A lot of Susan George's (Mary's) lines were dubbed over in post-production, because she was unable to hide her English accent.

  • I remember going to the drive-in to see this..im getting old

  • What's a drive-in?

  • I knew someday this question would come up,MY GOD I FEEL OLD! A drive in is an outdoor Theatre that you drive your car into and hook a speaker to your car, or you could tune in your radio in the later ones, ahhh the fun we used to have, could party and watch movies all night or make out with your woman. Great times there!

  • Sounds like fun.

  • Ya, it was alot of fun, the last one standing in Iowa is in Grinnel Iowa. The last one I went to was in South Des Moines and that was around 10 yrs ago.

  • OMG I cannot believe that question, now I sure feel old.

  • Totally seconded!

  • Mmmmmm... MooooPaaarrrr...

  • The sound from 1:42 to 1:46 is just the most amazing sound ever produced by an engine. Combine it with the best looking car design of the sixties and you know why the Charger is the most sought after muscle car around.

  • Yeah, same sound 3:15--3:30. I almost get a woody whenever I hear it.

  • The cinematography is superb. Very well done.

  • probably being restored after the crash because of its value lol

  • Nope, if you watch the movie, you will see how much it will be destroyed
