Well, I reluctantly agreed to cosplay as Ed in the upcoming Convention. I'm a GUY and I'm using my own long blonde hair. So, I think I'll be the best one if my outfit is good enough. Although, this is the first time I'm going to be doing this. I probably won't have his personality down.

@MaggotF0rLife OH MY GOSH I LOVE YOU. I cosplay Winry and I can use my own hair as well :) His attitude is fairly simple: He's a bit cocky, very self-conscious about his height, and his main goal is to get his brother's body back. He hates milk :) I MEAN HATES IT! :) GOOD LUCK!

@MissMeggieJ Yeah, I know everything about him. I'm just not an outgoing kind of guy, so I don't know if I can overreact if someone calls me short. I'm getting the black muscle shirt, black vest, red jacket, leather boots and pants, belt, gloves with the alchemy cirlce on them, automail arm and leg, the pocket watch, and the necklace. Did I miss anything? I'm getting measured tomorrow so we can buy the right size of everything. Hopefully someone records the best Edward Elric cosplay yet.

I know what you mean about not being able to act out... just practice... like tell your friends to throw around short comments at random times so you can scream at therm xDD Just use some of the more known rants "DON'T CALL ME SMALL! I'LL BREAK OFF YOUR FEET AND STICK EM ON YOUR HEAD!!" or "CAN A SHORTY DO THIS?!" etc. :) I'm sure you will do GREAT :)))

lmao, i just got into a new obsession with ed cuz' i went to my firt con at anime central 2010, and guess who was there?! VIC MIGNOGNA! i saw fullmetal fantasy and stood in a two hour line just to get his autoghraph. it was WAY worth it!! I got to hug him and take a picture>.> he smells like cologne XD

he's really nice because in reality, he acctualy stayed an extra hour to get every ony else in line. I love EDWARD!

@HirasawaYui98 Technically he's not. The character itself in the anime/manga is Amestrian which seems to be predominately white with ethnic groups around the eastern region I think. The show itself is Asian yeah but Edward Elric himself, as the cartoon character is not. So yeah, if we're going by technicality.

my hair tho is not that short. it's down to my butt. but no matter! i'll braid it all the way down and make a more sophisticated looking ed! HAHA for improvisations!!!
