the Sea of Hands I would have never thought about that one @playininjapan we do accept your unforgiveness but those were the good old days when NFL Football Organizations

tried to Really WIN it all with very talented players and not just go to the playoffs like today and loose then say we will be back next year haha

Oakland Raiders narrated by John Facenda Awesome footage Masters of the FAcken Game

  • if god has a voice, this is it!

  • 3:12 The Magnificent Eleven

  • Unfortunately, the Al Davis era ended the day he ordered the benching of Marcus Allen. The super bowl hero and future HOF'er, still in his prime, sat the bench for 3 years. The just win baby motto was replaced with my way or the highway baby. Raiders have not been the same since.

  • The raiders vs. steelers, dolphins, jets, broncos, chiefs, chargers, browns, and even the patriots i give thanx.Nothing better then a raider vs everyone! I thank Al Davis for these moments.Without him it would not have happened.Other thanx to the vikings, eagles, and redskins for showing up that day.

  • R.I.P. Al Davis. As a member of Steeler Country, the battles between my team and yours were legendary. To all in Raider Nation, I tip my hat to you and send my condolences. Just Win Baby!

  • 3:36 Electro Combat

  • 2:49 sounds like Syd Dale

  • These Raiders are coming back...

  • Im not an Oakland fan but I have a very healthy respect for them. Being born and raised in Denver I really cant help it. This was a nice post, I love the history of the Raiders and who doesnt love John Facenda? Cheers

  • Ohh God,..,, I want to say so much here,..listening to the voice of John Facenda tell the story of excellence makes me realize how the American culture does not pursue such high moral standards anymore!

    Excellence..???....what's that??

Pursue no short cut....are you joking??

So sad that great generation is gone!!!

I love them and miss them!!

  • raider nation rip al lets go all the way

  • RIP Al Davis, and thank you for all you did for the Raiders and the NFL.

  • As a dolphins fan as a kid, I'll never forgive you for the Sea of Hands, yet will always maintain a high level of respect for this organization.

RIP Al, end of an era....

  • @playininjapan very classy comment man........this Raider fan for life accepts your unforgiveness...........the 72 Dolphins legacy is right there with Al Davis'

  • Born and raised a Packer fan, but I gotta say this is awesome. John Facenda really is the voice of god!

  • I love his voice!!!!!

  • 3:37 ELECTRO COMBAT

  • 3:11 The Magnificient Eleven

  • 2:40 sounds like they switched from Sam Spence to KPM.

  • I am not a Raider fan, but that gave me chills. Those Raiders were the definition of Bad Ass.

  • most arguably the most ass kicking team in the nfl of all time plowing the cowboys and the steelers on their way

  • Love it !!! Go Raiders!!

  • I get chills when he says "Raider." It's like he emphasized the R and A sound.

  • Raiders highlights from 1968, 1969, 1970, 1972, 1974,1975, 1976 and 1980., all brought to you by the voice of NFL Films John Facenda.

  • The voice of Facenda and the mythology of the Raiders.

    A perfect mix.
