  • Wich cymbals are this? :O

  • gibraltar direct drive.

  • is that yamaha direct drive pedal?

  • Very nice video, but the way they showed both of his feet made it look like he had broken ankles

  • You are very helpfu, I developed bad habits on the double bass because of improper or no direction however im still having trouble incorperating my hands into the doublr bass beats.

  • Work on your time bro..you are rushing like crazy..

  • i love the last one

  • 0:52 Sleepwalker by Megadeth

  • he has so tiny feet <3

  • #6: Kind of like a blast beat? It is one!

  • @boobsmakemehappy1 yeah hes just not playing the snare on every note.i thought the same thing ages

  • @boobsmakemehappy1 almost

  • @boobsmakemehappy1 basically blast beat is played without double bass ;) When you add the double bass its called Bomb blast

  • lmao number 7 sounds like devils son

  • Any 9/8 beats for double bass drum?

  • @gsakavelis No. There are none.

  • This guy is a good metal teacher for beginners. He touches all the basic double bass metal beats.

  • Blast Beats \m/

  • uh man i got them down just dont have a double pedal

  • @MsAnimedrummer haha get one, just dont get a super cheap one because price really does affect the quality.

  • For me its strange, I can really easily do the fast 16th not DB beats in those small groupings, but when I go to practice the slower 8th note beats and that, I suck :L

  • @FakeMessiah94 When you're playing fast, it's often harder to notice sloppy timing (though you can definitely tell that it isn't grooving). I would suggest practicing the fast beats really slowly as well, to really work on your precision!

  • first: Thanks a lot for youre drumming lessons, i appreciate it that you spend a lot of time to show us how it works :) thanks :)

the second beat is count 1 + e 2 + e 3 + e 4 + e on double bass right? just for my own to compare it with the first!

  • @oplanainfaker haha not 1+e 2+e they are triplets, so you cont them

    1-trip-let-2-trip-let-3-trip-let-4-trip-let.....and 16th note triplets are

    1-trip-let-+-trip-let 2-trip-let-+-trip-let etc. etc.

  • @IneedCaseyDrumsJared

    yeah i know ;) in germany we count it 1 +e 2+e.... just 2 notes between the straight 1,2,3,4 .. :)

  • I love how he bitch-slaped himself on 3:53 ... btw nice tips :))

  • I have watched three of these video great job on all three...I am not a drum but a guitar player these videos were still very helpful!

  • Hi Great vid Thank You.My only question is on the 16 th note bass drum beat is your left hand hitting with the bass drum or is your right hand?I am new to the double bass drum and i am not sure if my right foot should be hitting with my left hand on beat 2 and 4.Thank You

  • @bobby9727 Yes it is. You shouldn't even be thinking about that, it just is instinct to know.

  • really good job keep it up
