You know, when I made this video things were going alright for me. Life was pretty damn good. Nothing special was happening really - but nothing bad was occuring either.

Unfortunately, that is not the case right now. I am on the same boat as you... unhappy. I am finding it difficult to find peace with myself since my step grandfather was diagnosed with terminal cancer just four days ago. The poor guy only has 6-8 weeks to live and I am not sure how to deal with such an event.

Of course people say, "He's lived a long and healthy life, I'm sure he's ready," - I just cannot comprehend that.

Who can honestly be ready for the fact that they are bound to die...that they only have so much time left on this Earth.

In turn, I cannot understand the point in religion now. Why is there a God that would do such a thing to a human being. Someone so caring, so loving, thoughtful, and wise must now look death straight in the eyes with no other choice but to accept it.

Unfortunately, my stepgrandpa passed away last month before I got a chance to really say goodbye. He was in Florida on vacation when he had a stroke and was diagnosed with a brain tumor as the rest of my family was in CT.

He was supposed to have 3 months of healthy living but only lasted around a week.

Your comment though is so very true. When my parents got the chance to go visit him, they did. And it lifted him up beyond words.

It's always a shock when a loved one goes so unexpectedly...one of my best friends in the world died last year at age 51, a blood clot to the heart. I know it's not much, but I have an email he sent out to his pals just before he died..they'll have to pry it out of my cold, lifeless hands!
