This is the exact OPPOSITE of what you want to bowl fast. Spinners lift their back foot but true pace bowlers DRAG their back foot. Please don't ever use this in practice if you want to be a fast bowler. I guarantee you will lose pace by lifting your foot off the ground in the crease before you release the ball.
this is a good alignment drill....as if your bowling in a tight corridor..helps you keep everything going in the direction your bowling the ball = no lost energy + increased accuracy + increased pace. For Medium and Fast Bowlers only
the box ensures the playing bowling jumps, otherwise the drill is not realistic, note the box is moved back towards the end of the video - ensuring the bowler is jumping and the drill is now more realistic....as the drill goes on it becomes more and more realistic..but these are the starting steps.

what a fantastic idea! im soo gona do that in practice! i tend to come in an angle to bowl then it always goes wide!
im pritty quick. approx.83mph last recorded!
