Great tutorial. I've been looking online for days for an inexpensive way to create animated video. This is the best tutorial I've seen yet. To those who say they can't draw, use clip art from something like MicroSoft Word. Then copy and paste it onto Paint to start your animated figure. Then the slight changes you make should be easy to do.

one tip ,in movie maker options you can previously set up the TIME pictures like jpgs will be shown. like 0,02 or whatever seconds so its smoother and really easier ,this way you just need to past the pics and its fine,made a movie 2 years ago this way^^ nice tutorial

How do you download the sound effects from the website you posted up the VDO? I went to the site and I was able to listen to some sound effects, but how do I save it in my computer so I can insert them in my animation (in the movie maker file)?

on the right side of the playback thing there's some buttons/links. click on the wav. file and just save it to your computer. When you're in movie maker just click import sound (i think)...

yes, i usually do that, but this is a tutorial for the "not so advanced" users. But i agree that photoshop or flash is better, but not cheaper! :-)

it took about 4 hours. Making animated movies takes very much time. The "Sammy gets drunk" film took about 3 months.
