  • @qadd4hm keep in mind the gtp is a family sedan and the camaro is a muscle car. you can make a car as fast as your pockets are deep man

  • @Fordguy772 The gtp may be a sedan, but they supercharged it for a reason. your right, you could make a smart car faster than both those cars with enough money into it. but the same can be said for any car. The argument should not be make or model, but money. lol.

  • @qadd4hm yup. the gtp was not intended to be a race car just a family sedan with a little get up and go but people took it to the next level. i daily drive a gtp and i love it. definetly a cool car for everyday driving

  • @Fordguy772 Agreed. Im not hatin, hell i had an 89 TGP (turbo grand prix), and a 93 SHO. really fun cars. My taste just lies in the sound of a good ol small block. although iv heard some reeealy nice sounding gtp's ext ext.

    you can make a smart car faster than these for cheap lol. just buy a dropped GSXR and turbo it. fastest 1.0L car you will ever drive!

  • waz ur gp gt a 97,98,99, or 2000. my gp gt is 2000 and i beat a solistise turbo from launch. my gp gt has no mods, just saying.

  • its top swapped. that means its technically a gtp. and gtps are hot cars. im not surprised it kept up with that camaro. actually im surprised the gtp didnt win right off the line. it was probably moving too fast from the roll to shift into third. i wont do rolling races over 35 mph because my grand prix gt wont shift into first gear if im going over 35.

    Z28 had exhaust work and gears.

  • @UnalterableSuffering No its not a V6 Camaro. You can make an L67 faster than an LS1 easily with a few simple bolt on's.

  • The title says it was a GT not a GTP -didn't hear the supercharger whine and it wouldn't suprise me the Z28 is an LT1 not an LS1 the Z28s are SLOW stock that is

  • r u sure the camaro was a z28 i know i saw the emblem but there was no exaust pipes and the car wasnt load at all. it looked like the camaro just ddn care. i am not ragging on gtp's cause i am buying one next week

  • @PhantomMustangGT21 Slap 4.10 gears on any camaro with an LT1 and your GTP's will not survive

  • @dnyceda1 get some head work and slap a 3.2 pulley and your camaro will not survive

  • @SanAntoniosF1N3ST Do the same mod to both cars and the gtp will lose. Like a cam for instance, do a cam to both cars and nothing else, and the camaro will be in the next area code by the end of the race. GTP's are respectable, but when you get down to it, fwd = wrongwheeldrive.

  • @dnyceda1 just so you know i took a bonneville ssei up against a monte carlo that had cam headers and 4.11 gears and i took him without anyproblem with only a 3.5 pulley and a cold air intake so dont underestimate a car just cause it has a v6 especially the 3.8 series 2 l67 cars cause they arent slow what so ever
