  • i hear you but i cant tell which pixel you are

  • مخيس

  • Manda huevos, que tenga que ver un reportaje hecho por un guiri de una carabina fabricada en España... no he sabido encontrar un reportaje en castellano :S

  • I had a Gamo Air rifle and the trigger pull was terrible. Very hard to shoot. How is the trigger pull on this weapon?

  • where can u get an adapter?

  • Don't understand why anyone would call this a rifle. That would imply that the barrel is rifled. Which it is not.

  • A bad gun. Save your money for something better.

  • amm, slow motion requires a slow motion camera, not just put the video slow on your windos movie maker

  • Why would you want to kill living creatures? I dont understand.

  • @Doped2k7 hunters hunt for food and pest control. to just kill animals is called poaching. where do you think that steak you eat came from.

  • @Doped2k7 because its fuckin fun god damn hippie jungle bunny

  • @Doped2k7 how do you think you are here....your ancestors had to kill living creatures to survive....helloooooo think about that you wouldnt be here right now if your ancestors didnt kill for there food no person on this planet would be here if everyone's ancestors didnt kill for their food...it is human nature to hunt...personally i rather hunt for my meat then buy it at a store

  • @Doped2k7 Why would you want to troll hunting videos? I don't understand.

  • @Doped2k7 It's often far more humane than the slaughterhouse and certain animals (like the brown rat) are vermin and would otherwise kill other, native living creatures as well as spreading disease, so need to be controlled.

  • hello I like your videos, I would like to buy but I'd like to hear from you, but when applied to 1g. Lead, do we put 1.5 grams. such acts, like the power to kill a sparrow succeed? I look forward to!

  • Using the insert and firing a .22 pellet, you shoot one pellet and say "Not bad"! How does it do using a 5-shot group? Velocity?

  • nice review... IS this gun good for skeet shooting

  • I had Gamo maxima 700 $ us, I take a year to collect money 2 months to get information on Internet and take My objective is hunting small animal's . This is my job. I do not hunt for fun.But what I got from the gamo rifle target shooting is within 10 meters, only 30% . I sent Email to gamo, but no response. If I can suggest you please choose other Brand may be expensive but it worth more. my name Waramam from ChiangMai Thailand (I used Google Translate to write this letter) Thanks.

  • is this gun good for like small bird hunting?

  • Wow dudes I made this mesg a long time ago im so baked right now like I was than ahahah kul

  • can you get the shot shells in the uk?????

  • are u fuckin color blind its a grey not black stock

  • Very good review but for 45-60 euros you can buy second-hand 12mm or 9mm birdshot rifles, much more powerful with more available ammo...

  • gamo is the weakest brand in terms of quality if compared to Diana and Weihrauch...

  • ui dont really like break-barrel rifles cause i had a

crossman phantom shot maybe 100 pellets and when i went

to go shoot it the barrel fell down nd has like no air going into the barrel to eject the pellet

  • recoil pad?? holy shit its a pellet gun

  • @rednecks493 but it is used to do accuracy competitions, without the recoil pad it would not be as precise anymore...

  • Is a .25 cal pellet gun better for killing than a .22 cal pellet

  • @lilwalkinglegs if you like big holes

  • @lilwalkinglegs it depends, over caliber size, trajectory and accuracy are most impotant, an i deal velocity is 800-950fps, to slow, trajectory suffers, too fast, accuracy suffers

  • @lilwalkinglegs i would go with 25 for small to medium game

  • Comment removed

  • hey would the Barnes Varmint Grenade Bullets 22 Caliber work??

  • this is good for home security. right?

  • Is the viper express and the shadow express the same thing except for the design? I have the Gamo tactical and wondering if I should get this thing for the shotgun ability.

  • @WannabeeMarine yes, just different stock

  • This is my favorite airgun out of all of my rifles.

  • can you fill the shot shells back up or do they have to be replaced

  • @eri3576w the shot shells are refillable i think, but thats the special ammunition, the cheap ones are one time use.

  • gob shite 2withn1 shot

  • The ammo is too expensive, 15 dollars for a 100 shotshells!!!!!

  • can ou but this in canada? without a licence?

  • problem is the ammo is so frickin rare

  • well the funny thing is a bigger nitro piston is available for the walther faclcon hunter ,i would love that in my 800x and i really dont know why it cant be installed.,The one they tested was doing 1000 fps with 11 grain hobbys in 22,my gun would probabably only do 770 with 11 grains. So,yea power upgrades sould be available

  • you probbaly put the metal adaptor in backwards

  • they should have used a rifled barrel, and the hunter extreme spring.keep the cheap plastic frame to moderate price. Then it would have great

  • @frog45678 My guess is that the shot bouncing down the barrel would mess up the rifling, so they used a smooth bore. You're right about the extreme spring, though, they should have used it. This can be upgraded with the Crosman Nitro Piston, which isn't much of a power upgrade, but I'm hoping they'll eventually release the same nitro piston that's used in the Benjamin Trail NP XL series (similar to the extreme spring in power) for upgrading other rifles such as this.

  • good review.. my cuz just got one i have the viper

  • OMG a airsotgun!!!

  • Ive never really owned a spring piston. Can anyone tell me? Is this gun supposed to smell like burnt after I fire it? I understand the piston produces extreme heat for a second or 2. But is it supposed to smell? or do I need to oil it? how do you oil the thing!?

  • yes, it smells. and it smokes from time to time, but its normal.

  • i was wondering ...is it alright to say load any gamo rifle then go hunting? it wont wear out the spring or anything?

  • @l1m1t3dk1ll First off, why would you want to, that make no since? And yes it will wear out your spring, causing your gun to loose its velocity.

  • What about the kick? Is it just a little, is more then expected (for an airgun, obviously)? PLEASE ANSWER!!!

  • dude the kick wont even hurt, i promise, ive shot a 12 gauge .303 and a .22, a .22 doesnt even kick at all and that has gunpowder. This is an airgun it wont hurt at all

  • Thank you for the answer but I've already shot a .22 rifle that has less kick then a GAMO CF-30, so, it can be really different from a real firearm. That's why I said "for an airgun, obviously". So it doen't work to compare an airgun with real firearms... But anyway, thank you for the answer.

  • This is stupid if you want a shot gun get a real one, get a 410

  • Yeah but he doesn't want a real shot gun so shut up!

  • u shut up i didnt know that

  • 1st: if you didn't know that, then why did you comment? Only comment about things you know. 2nd: It's obvious that he doesn't want a real shot gun, because if he wants, why would he be doing this review?!

  • hey dumb dumb i didnt comment i asked a question, big difference. a comment is say something like you suck. a question would be like does the Gamo Viper Express Shotgun suck. this is what exactly what i said "This is stupid if you want a shot gun get a real one, get a 410"

thats what i said i was questioning why dont you get a 410. dumy

  • For me, that isn't a question... I didn't see any interrogation there... You just said that what that guy in the video is doing is stupid, and you didn't ask if he wants a real shot gun, you ordered him to buy a real shot gun, a 410. Think more about your comments, man, and think more about what you call people too.

  • can you fire real shotgun shells out of it cuz that would be cool

  • Lol, he didn't fail.

  • Yes he did.... He asked if he could shoot real shotgun shells out of an airgun.... and kick is about average for a gun like this..

  • No, cuz of the size.

  • hey u can actually use dove shot reall bullets just cut open a shotgun shell dove shot reccomended. take some toilet paper roll it up stick it in the one end of the black shell and then fill it with dove shot. its so much better than bbs because 1 u can fit more 2 they will kill anything 3 you can fit so much more in the black tube

  • my squirrel/largebird gun i hope

  • can u fill the shotgun shell with regular .177 bbs or do u have to buy special ammo for it?

  • special ammo

  • i have the GAMO varmit hunter

  • So does these shells work once or do you just refill? Does anyone know what the ultimate most powerful airgun is? The most powerful legal one i've seen so far is "Hatsan Torpedo 150th Combo 6,35 mm. 230 m/s". Looking for one that cost up to maximum 1000 USDollars. Hope someone can help since I just started to collect these guns. Got the Gamo AF 10 Handgun wich is kinda fun, but I want a rifle with alot of power! Probably buying this Shotgun next month. Thanks hopefully someone can help. :)

  • thts a nice gun i hve the gamo big cat 1200

  • How much do the shot shells cost

  • $7.50 for 25

  • they should make a little choke for it

  • @gnomehater63 i know thats a good idea so you can shoot a squirril in the head with more than 1 shot i probly didnt spell squirril right but im not a good speller

  • does the adapter come with it??

  • i got one but for some reason when i shoot a pellet out of the metal the pellet get stuck in the barrel, can someone help?

  • you have to get a ram rod to jam it out or like something like that

  • what i ment was is like the gun doesnt have enough power yo push it out the gold picece

  • the gold peice stays in until you take it out. it is only there to help fit a .22 caliber pellet. it is not made to be shot out. the pellet comes out just fine.

  • hmm.... i think you may have a defective gun. call Gamo and ask about it.

  • could i take out a skunk with one of these? i dont wat to kill them, but our friend drowns them because they dont have a gun to kill them with... so i wanna get to them before she does

  • Easily, just load the .22 pellet into it and you'll have no problem. Just get a good shot and it'll be out.

  • yeah

  • shot shell can kill a piegon or pheasant?

  • so just to confirm can this fir boh single pellets and shot?

  • yes

  • do the shot shellss use powder or air

  • air my good man

  • no it isnt

  • it uses air to shoot the shells

  • its a break barell which means you have to automatically cock it yourself

    not air ffs

their on about PCP (pre charged pneumatic) rifles which in my own opinion are better

  • he sais its a rifle, but its not because it has no rifles in the barrel.

  • One of the kills was apx. 40-45 feet away. This gun IS powerful. But it has only a front bead sight like a shotgun. I do not like that. I put a cheap Daisey scope on it, now I shoot 3" groups at 100 feet. The groups would be better if my nerves were better no doubt. Plus the scope was sitting in the garage for maybe 10 years. Actually I have the GAMO Shadow Express. It is the same except for the Viper is a little more fancy. Same powerplant in both guns.

  • cont.... The birdshot does not pass through the can and create any exit hole(s). A few of the pellets do pass all the way through, creating exit damage, but most do not do that at 30 feet. It would kill a dove at 30 feet, no doubt about it. As for the .22 cal pellet, groundhogs are very, very leathery and tough and this gun caused such a massive shock to the rodent's nervous system that the hogs died without moving another inch, both times.

  • ... kinda stupid i mean if you think about it...just get a shotgun and use different loads such as 1 1/8 loads all the way down to 1/2 loads...

  • I wish it was more powerful, like 1000-1200FPS!

  • Anyone know if you can buy these in the UK? I dont want to have to go through the lengthy liscening process of buying a real shotgun.

  • I havent seen any yet. To be honest, theres very little you would be able to with this gun, it doubt it would be poweful enough for hunting. Just get yourself a simple .22

  • In fact if your heart is set on a shotgun, you might as well get the real steel. Getting a shotgun certificate is nowhere near as hard as you might think. Just go down your local police station, fill out a few forms, pay £50. Then they come round your house and inspect your security (gun cabinet ect), and then they give you the certificate. The whole process shouldnt take more than a week, mine was done in 4 days. After that you can buy as many shotguns as you can store or afford.

  • Think again. This gun is plenty powerful. We have killed 2 groundhogs with it so far. At 35 feet, the .22 pellets pierce a heavy duty spray-paint can AND exit the back of the can, causing a very large exit hole. I lined up 7 pop cans, at 30 feet the pellet sliced through all 7 cans and kept on going unhindered. At 30 feet the birdshot rounds punch right through one side of a pop can, causing massive damage, I mean just swiss cheesing the entire side of a can.

  • you might as well get a real shotgun i dowt this will be any good, or gun get a real air rifle. this is just a gimmick

  • Hold the barrel while you're loading a break-barrel air rifle, it may save your fingers one day.

  • Whats the muzzle velocity of the gun? (Fps)

  • Velocity: 725 fps (.22 cal), 750 fps (shotshell)

  • Is this good enough to shoot pheasants and rabbits?

And what other air-shotguns is there?

(Sry for being a noob, but I've only fired on firing-ranges and at home before.)

  • probally but if i were you i would go with the 12 gauge, heres a few reasons

    1. more power and range

    2. wider shot pattern

    3. you can use it for a lot more game

    4. shotgun ammo is cheap (around 5-8 bucks for 25 rounds

    5. the shells for the gun in the video are expensive (10 bucks for 25 rounds)

i shoot shotguns all the time and they dont have much recoil so dont worry about that

  • You don't know what country I am in now do you? Here in Sweden, we don't go to walmart to buy an UZI. Here we need to go for an education in how to use guns, sign every single paper there is, get a hunters exam, then register our rifle, then buy it, after telling what it's for, and then, if small game, check what places and seasons are allowed. I couldn't just walk in to the woods with a shotgun and think I'll get away with it. ;P (Btw, this is my bro's acc, I'm 18)

  • we need to do that too, trust me, illinois is almost as bad as the UK when it comes to guns

  • i think if you want to hunt pheasants and rabbits and still don't want a firearm, i recommend a .22 caliber air rifle. yes, this thing does have an adapter for a .22 caliber pellet, but it is fired out of a smoothbore barrel. most .22 caliber air rifles have rifled barrels, which are much more accurate and much better for hunting. look at the rest of the Gamo line of rifles. i'm sure you'll find one you like. if not, look at the RWS Diana or Weihrauch line. these are German made and hi-quality.

  • Okay, I'll look in to it, right now I'm sitting on a cheap hobby-store one.

  • here in norway we have the same problems, but we dont need a license for an airgun that is 5,5mm or above 200mps in 4,5 ;)

  • Does this rifle have a mount for optics?

  • yea

  • Awesome thanx

  • a .410 would be a much better value than this

  • the problem with a .410 is that it is a firearm. this isn't. this can be bought without owning any license in most states. a .410 needs a license because it is a firearm.

  • you need a license to buy airguns in illinois

  • you can thank damn obama for that buddy. lol

  • Comment removed

  • OUCH

  • IDIOT!

  • this looks like a good beginner gun

  • i need a good rifle for varmit hunting, should i get this or a benjamin sherdian

    .22 cal?

  • get a shotgun dont waist your money on that thing

  • specialforces69, you're wrong. only the Gamo VIPER(not express) outputs 1000 fps with lead pellets, and 1200 with PBA.

  • hey mate just a coupl of questions 4 u

    whats the cost? (us)

whats the fps for both pellet and shot?

    cheers

  • Never trust safety

  • I would not recommend this for hunting small game, only birds, cool gun though

  • Is the barrel rifled ?.

  • I don't think so. I think it has to be a smooth bore because of the shotgun effect.

  • the pellet exits the muzzle at 725 fps and the bbs exit at 750 fps. you can NOT take big birds with it. i wouldn't even recommend taking any birds with the bbs, they're just too light and they're few, and getting as close as 10 yards isn't easy at all. using the .22 cal pellet i reckon you can take rabbits up to 40-50 yards, doves at 50-60 (if accuracy isn't a problem) and rats at well over 60 yards (again if accuracy isn't a problem). For home defense i would deffinatly not recommend this!

  • what are you talking about? I have many air rifles and I bought this one about 2 months ago and I have taken out crows while they were flying. It also is good on squirrels and chipmunks. It is my favorite air rifle. Not my favorite gun however, my favorite rifle I own is my AK47 assault rifle.

  • dude your a dip shit i work for Gamo im one of their gun testers and ive used this gun, i own one... and this thing would do fine for home defense if using the shot shell which produces a 10" spread pattern at 10 yards i shot a piece of cardboard and it shredded the thing to pieces. i highly recommend this gun.

  • Shredded a piece of cardboard, LMAO! You're an idiot. There's no way a person should use this as opposed to an actual 12 gauge shotgun loaded with 00 buckshot. It's NOT "fine for home defense". #4 Buck is considered the BARE MINIMUM for home defense. The ballistics and coefficients produced by the Gamo and its shot aren't even close...

  • the shotgun shells have a muzzel vel. of 725fps, so if your standing roughly 10 yards away from an intruder you could quite easily blow a hole in there head.

  • I think it would be more like spray them with pellets, there is no way someone would be able to take getting shot with that thing from 10yds...............but its definately not gonna blow a hole in anyones head, cool gun but not that much to blow a hole in a person head, not even close

  • haha maybe i over-reacted a bit... but i got this gun a week ago :D i shot a pigeon from about 7 yards and nearly blew it to bits haha, its certainly effective...but yeah when i said it would blow a hole in someones head i over-reacted a bit.

  • 410fps can kill someone already.

  • Not likely.

  • Comment removed

  • no you guys are wrong. the shotshell is only good upto about ten yards. wich is pretty hard to get that close to a rabbit or squirrel. definately good for birds and rats though. the .22 caliber pellet is good up to about 30 yards ive owned a lot of small game air rifles, .22 rifles, shotguns everything. dont let someone fool you the .22 is pretty good out of this

  • i want to go buy one, i have already now the gamo CFX, look at my accound for a video with that air rifle, but this one looks better and i can hunt 4 birds with this one.

  • the cfx kicks ass, i got one myself, one tip, try to put three-four 4,5mm balls into this gun.

  • i prefer a 410 but this is good too

  • how much is it?

  • i agree

  • huh. Thanks for the answer! Really helps alot and clearifies everything up! Thanks!

  • so basically it is excatly like a gun but shoots less powerful rounds right?

  • Comment removed

  • So, after you fire a shell you can reload it again?

  • yes, f.ex. buckshot=3-4 4,5 crosman balls.

  • is it a spring, co2, air source, pump or pneumatic rifle????

  • It's a spring Break Barrel.

  • Spring powered.

  • So this is a real gun right or a gun that shoot pellets realy hard like a gun?

  • can you shoot clay pigeons with the viper express?

  • can anyone tell me what it means: gas ram?

  • 10 yards is extremely close, what kinda rabbit, squirrel, etc. lets you get within 10 yards of it? 20-30 yards would make much more sense but i think that thing would be pointless at that distance.

  • Good !!!

  • It's still just an air rifle. For how much it costs, you might as well just go to Wal-Mart and buy a damn REAL shotgun.
