  • Ha, that was sick. The audio is so clear, i might have to get that mic. I'm new to film making, would you all mind checking out my short titled "Me, My Drinking, My Depression"? any feedback would be appreciated.

  • @OMMSFILMS Glad you liked it! :) I'll watch your short film.

  • @Legominder No he puts him to sleep. Don't try that if you don't know what you're doing because you could kill the person if you don't do hit properly.

  • Nice short! Very original and great ending. Liked the color correction too! Please check out my channel, I make short films also!

  • @RaulSoaresG1452 Thanks! I will check it out.

  • what did you use to capture such amazing audio on there voices?

  • @ammaryk1011 Most of the conversation was recorded with a Sennheiser 416 into a Sound Device recorder. Inside the car it was a Rode Video Mic directly into the 5D audio input.

  • I love this!!

  • What kind of lens, did you use any accessories

  • @ThatMovieGuy55 Thanks! I used mainly the 70-200 F/2.8 IS and the 17-40 F/4. There are some shots with the 50 F/1.8 too. Accessories were tripod and ND filters.

  • Maybe in the end he could be another thief? however, funny, just a thing on Photography: too much shallow depth of field gives a look of the two guys detached from the background, looks like the background is frozen. Keep it up!

    Vimeo?

  • @pixuma Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it! Yes it's on vimeo too. How did you end up on "Some Help" on you tube?

  • @fbordez Well, i was in the mood to watch some short films, particularly the ones shot on DSLRs.

Vimeo wasn't loading at the time, so i decided to browse youtube.

Again, AWESOME work! Script and story are both awesome!

  • @pixuma Thanks for the kind words. I gonna keep making films then. :)

  • what mics and recorder did you use? Did you use lavs in the car?

  • @kp91385

We used the low end Audio Technica medium shotgun. (it's a discontinued model) plugged into a Sound Device recorder. If I was to buy a shotgun mic today I would go with the Rode NTG-2. In the car I used the Rode Video Mic plugged straight in the camera.

  • Loved it! 5*****
